People have the choice of NOT to be a customer. If you feel offended, leave. Simple as that.

drat, where the rest of my post? Anyways, to continue my abbreviated previous post about muslims, I advise: Love the poeple, fight against the religion (Islam that is). If you doubt me, go take a good look at the sate of affairs in muslim countries. Even my Arab Muslim friends in that bastion of relative tolerance and prosperity, Dubai, they hate it and would preffer to live in my city of Athens Greece anyday, even though we are super-broke and poor lately. You know why? Freedom. Humans like to have it, but Islam doesnt provide it.

So before you champions of human rights get your panties in a twist about muslim baiting, realize that we do indeed need to protect ourselves against this religion. Not the 'terrorists' thats mostly bullpoo, but the colonists. Your buddy Abdul may be cool, but their grandchildren will behead our grandchildren. My father narrowly escaped such a fate at the hands of a muslim mob in Indonesia (what a friendly country!) as a youth. Dont think it cant ha

Im gonna comment here since I was raised in Saudi Arabia, and thus feel like Im an expert on all things pertianing to Muslims and Arabs.

First of all, pretty much eveyone is racist/prejudiced in some way. Its natural & normal, and there are healthy societal reasons for this which have been partially washed away by modernity. Its like our bodys ability to store fat, great in hunter gatherer societys, not so good in the consumer society.

Now, lets get to the Arabs and Muslims. Most Arabs are muslims, but not all, and minority-religion Arabs suffer greatly at the hands of the muslims. I know this first hand from my Christian Arab friends in Egypt, Syria, and elsewhere in the middle east. Calling a Christian Arab a terrorist is like calling a Jew during WWII a Nazi, so watch that one, will ya?

Now about the muslims. Islam does not include notions like freedom of religion, or pretty much almost any freedom we take for granted in the west. I advise:Love the p

"There can't be too many racist tools like that going around are there?"

I was in Nashville (Opryland) for a gig a week ago. One of our crew is a young black guy. Quiet, friendly and works hard like the rest of the crew. He's new and this is the first time I met him but his older brother was on the crew for a while before going freelance and they are very nice guys. I was told they were in a sportsbar in Opryland and this new guy suddenly left for a while. When he returned, one of the other guys on the crew asked him why he disappeared for a while. He said a couple of women sitting nearby were saying really racist things and he felt he had to leave for a while. Can you imagine being him, a nice, hard-working guy trying to enjoy some time off and having to listen to that crap?! Wish I had been there and had the guts to go over to those b!tches and said something. Hope I have the guts to do it.

"Islam is a religion and Arab is an ethnicity; no races were harmed in the making of this film."

Sigh. Once again you are lost in the minutiae of semantics and totally miss the main point of the post.

Ok, so many people here can learn from that soldier guy. Many clever people here appear very racist to me, like Gerry for instance. I just mention Gerry because I was totally surprised by his sudden racism.

If you classify any set of people into specific groups, there will always be a few extremist idiots.

Maybe it's just perspective, but I have never personally witnessed hatred like this. But I have personally witnessed many instances (and have been the victim of numerous instances) of hatred toward whites. I'm getting real sick of being portrayed as the bigot when I have always been the victim.

Also, I do think a lot of the more extremist muslims have this view of 'the west is out to get islam and all muslims'..... they conveniently forget that the UK and US actively went out of our ways to help save muslims from genocide in Bosnia for example.

"I don't have a problem with muslims, but I do have a major problem with their religion"

I think that is kinda where I'm at... but with all religions. It's not the people that believe those things I don't like, it is the very concept of religion I don't like... any religion.

take some IAB'ers for instance... I don't agree with their politics, but quite like the person. I don't agree with their religious beliefs, and actively dislike the concept... but I do like some of the people that believe in them - I think for the vast majority of people you can separate the person from their beliefs/politics....the extremists you can't though, that is what makes them extremists in the first place.

Incidentally I think my 2nd wife married the muslim mate of mine she ran off with... he was a complete mean person, but that had nothing to do with his religion. :)

I don't have a problem with muslims, but I do have a major problem with their religion, religious beliefs, culture and customs (though the severity of their delusion and the way they act out differs). Therefore, I would have no problems dealing with a muslim, or christian for that matter, but I would not place one in a position where their beliefs may cause harm to myself or people that I have a duty of care over.

I encourage people (especially conservative Americans, meant with love) to actually go to, as I have done, Iran, Iraq, Saudi, Libya, Syria, Dubai, Algeria, Tunisia, Jordan, Oman, Bahrain, Morocco, Qatar... Some of the friendliest (and I mean genuinely friendly and welcoming, sharing food they barely had to spare) people I have ever met. Boots on the ground man, I've lived it.

I know you're sold that on every street corner there's a woman getting stoned to death for being raped etc (raghead barbarians!), and some buy it. It happens, but it's such a rare event as to be not noteworthy (unless your kick is going watch an execution, someplace like Texas). As a foreigner I've experienced nothing but hospitality in those places. And I've been there. Lots.

Bravo to this soldier. He's right. Fight the bad guys, and they're out there, don't get me wrong. But you're not a bad guy by default just because.

Davy out.

I've tried to explain to many people (including some IAB regulars who I won't embarrass by naming) that Muslims aren't monsters. Most of those people have no f*cking idea of outside world. Never been outside the US, in many cases never outside their State. Canada is a forieign country, and was a great vacation that one time. With all due respect, what the f*ck do you know? I know that's what they're spoon-fed by Fox News etc, but it simply isn't reality.

Sure, there are evil bastards, but you get that everywhere. Sh*t, Christian Priests and Pastors f*ck kids in the ass every day, and it's often covered up. But that's another story. Somone's religious values has nothing to do with their moral values. Often the two are diametrically opposite. Let's face it, sometimes religion is just an excuse to pick on the weak. Rape children and abuse women. F*ck. That. Noise.

Saying that all Muslims are terrorists is as comparable to saying all Christians blow up abortion clinics. It's just a crock.

I was fortunate enough to take a class on Islam and learn right before 9/11 and had plenty of interaction with all types of Muslims. Yes, types.

No, not all Muslims are so radical like al quaeda, but those radical groups have unfortunately gotten political power. They've outlawed different sects of Islam from being practiced and I've known my share of these outlaws who've come here for religious freedom. (And on a side note, Sufis can be some of the coolest, most accepting people for their belief is that Allah is in everything and everywhere and we are all connected, regardless of our religion.)

I knew that soldier wasn't going to say something stupid. He knows what's going on in the world before we do and he believes in the constitution which says freedom for all religion. Otherwise, we're a bunch of hypocrites.

Note to I-A-B.....Ask Gerry if it's true homosexuals prance around with raging erections in wet underwear and hold parades that border on porn, or if they just want "equality". See, generalizing is easy!

"Hate" is wrong as long as everyone is loving and kind and means only good will toward their neighbors.

But grow up and smell the homeless! There are men out there who want you dead for no good reason. There are men who just want to watch the world burn. There are men who are evil and will stir up any violence they can because they can.

If you won't defend yourself you deserve what you get. Stop living in your dream land and face the real world. Parts of it are ugly, but mostly it's nice.

Every time I post that I don't see what the big deal about a fake racist being almost comically racist to the point where anyone would intervene, it gets deleted.

Shame the rest of the greater population of the world has not got his sense of equality
this includes Muslims, and all the rest of the tribal warring factions
