That pic of Nick Cage makes me think that he would have been great as Dracula, but Gary Oldman got the part. That vampire movie Cage did make? When I watched it, I wanted to slap him silly, for using that ridiculous voice.

Without gremlins it'd be a movie called "Mogwai"
Okay, that's still cute enough to be good.

VV @carmium: I wondered that too! No "intelligent monkeys" in the novels...

Terminator Trivia: Lance Henriksen (a fine actor!) was first cast as the Terminator!
Schwarzenegger was Kyle Reece! Things changed... for the better!

Also: The "Hollywood Suits" thought the movie should end after the truck crash? = DUMB!

How could Dr. No ever be a monkey? The first Bond films were fairly close to Fleming's original novels.

Great post. The only item that wasn't really out there was Macchio in "Back to the Future." That could have worked.

damn executives. who the hell do they think they are? just because with out them the movie wouldnt have any money they think they own the damn thing. i hate executives SO MUCH! and yet i want to be one so badly. i want to be the one controlling the behind the scenes of hollywood and who should be in what movie and what expensive scene shouldnt be in the movie and what early 20s actress to exploit for all shes worth. i promise i would be a good executive and make decisions the people will love, but im sure thats what most police officers thought when the first decided to be a cop.
