Cajun247: No I don't see where you left anything out.

But on Gerrymandering, nearly every state has it, BAD, and both parties do it equally. I know Maryland has it going on hard core, and the Gerrymandering war between democrats and republicans in virginia was well documented and openly verbalised. The democrats vowed to regain control of it by redistricting and republicans told them it would never happen again an Gerrymandered it their own way. I'll try to find a districting simulator, but I watched one in my Political Science class. You can have exactly equal votes and change it to a majority for either party, even with all the stipulations that are required. I remember my teacher saying "politics is the science of giving power to your vote; it used to be about suppressing the power of your opponents vote, currently it is about making your own vote count more."

Liberal citing liberal website repeating widely known facts while drawing liberal (and incorrect) conclusions trying to cover liberal media's ass. Am I'm missing something?

Gerrymandering - this is big misconception among non-critical thinkers. If you thought critically, you would know that if we were obligated to draw every district as a square, it would benefit Republicans even more than currently. Why?

Where Democrats live, they live densely. Republicans are spread more evenly. They have no Manhattan, San Fran, Cook County. They don't.

So let's say you have 10 people and 10 districts of 10 people each. The Democrats live densely, so there will be more districts with a higher concentration of Democrats. Let's say:

District 1 - 8D/2R
District 2 - 7D/3R
District 3 - 6D/4R
District 4 - 6D/4R
District 5 - 4D/6R
District 6 - 4D/6R
District 7 -4D/6R
District 8 -4D/6R
District 9 -4D/6R
District 10 - 3D/7R

And because of that, voters in this non-gerrymandered situation can and would be split 50/50, yet still skew to any population that is less densely populated.

Other things are just dumb, like House Republicans blocking bills. What about Senate Democrats sitting on bills? It's the same thing. It's a divided congress. The Republicans in the House block the ones they don't agree with, the Democrats in the Senate block theirs. Why is it only blocking when one side does it?

- Also, everyone is aware of outsourcing? Seriously, you didn't know that?

Bophus, really? These things are common on most of the media. Have you seen the recent cover of Time?? It's literally about bees.

However, I would actually disagree about that bee story being liberal (among many of these here) How would reporting about bee disappearances be liberal??? Seriously, how? Is it that pesticides are a Conservative thing? I don't get it.

Everything else is a daily occurrence in the media. You have to be living under a rock not to think the non-fox media isn't liberal. Either that, or you are so inextricably in left field.

It's not healthy to have a media that isn't critical.

Fox News calling other news agencies biased.

Ooh the irony.

Yup. But 2 was almost incomprehensible. There must be a clear way of saying that. (I don't need it explained, I get it. It is poorly written.)

Spanz. The Trayvon Martin murder happened to happen on a slow news day. They needed something to talk about and this is something they knew they could ride out. The other story wouldnt have garnered nearly as much attention and not as many people would have tuned in. All new stations are about making money. If you think any differently, you are absolutely retarded. The article is correct though. You cant argue with the facts that are presented in the blog. Well you can, but they would still be facts.

you have to be either totally joking, or from the planet zardoz. The frigin media could not be more un-abashedly liberal if it tried. Not a true fact amongst ANY report they. Facts: something to be manipulated to their warped socialist point of view. Trayvon Martin--victim of racists attack, white kid beaten by 3 black kist on bus--not newsworthy, nothing to see here, move along.

This is so blatantly false (the original post) that the writers pants should have caught on fire.
