Sunday, March 06, 2005 1:27:26 AM I can't see how anything farmed could be eco friendly. The run-off from fish farms causes a green slime that desimates the beach and ocean ecosystems. Then, if any fish escape (which happens all the time) they carry parisites and diseases to the wild salmon that kills them. |

Friday, March 04, 2005 5:14:13 PM I don't like seafood and I'm a vegetarian anyway, but I can see how this would be helpful. |

Friday, March 04, 2005 3:40:07 PM I can see why most of those are on the list. A lot of the fish on the bad list are fish that people have been eating for a VERY long time. No wonder they have been almost fished(is that the word?) out. I already stoped eating most of those, but I still found it informative. I am surprised that native french oysters are not on the eco-bad list. |

Friday, March 04, 2005 8:40:34 AM Why WOULDNT killing fish and destroying their reproductive mechanism be considered not eco-friendly? |
