Can we just use Godwin's law here? For the love of all that is good, would people please, whatever your political leanings, stop comparing everything to Nazis? Neither the US or any country is Nazi Germany. It's a lazy argument. And if you have to, at least get the history right. Just one example, lots of people had copies of Mein Kampf sitting on their shelves, but much like the bible, very few actually read it.

America, as a society, is failing. We are all to blame (all sides). And it is right, complacency. And with complacency is the lack of knowledge of what to do about it.

Fascism is a third position outside of the political spectrum. It is liberal socially, but it is conservative economically.

It is also a view, given a different name, that many would support. (Not me. Just saying.)

Sleepyhallow: Back to school for you. You need to dig a little harder in your history books to find that most of the big offenders in history were notorious liberals and socialists. Did you hit your head coming out from under your school desk during one of those " This wood and metal desk will protect me from the nuke!" drills. We're the same basic age and we didn't get taught this pablum they are teaching in schools today.

Only an idiot of Ollie's caliber would consider Fascism a Leftist political system.

Honestly, that was a good video... the fact that it was narrated by a child seemed to actually make it seem to hit a little harder...

Actually, it was closer to 50 million dead, but who's counting?

BTW, despite what your high school social studies teacher said, Hitler was a leftist.

There is a reason for the second amendment. The younger generation hasn't experienced, or had parents who have experienced major warfare.

Mostly, it's the europeans who talk crap about Americans love for the second amendment. The holocaust was IN EUROPE. You guys should support the right to bear arms more than ANYONE.

I believe that almost everyone in America knows that our politicians are complete liars, completely corrupt, and do not care about our well being.

True change would require a REVOLUTION.

I believe that the average American knows that something is wrong. We waist our time arguing about what we could do. Waiting until we can agree on a course of action. The reality is that we need to start now.
I am not sure if my generation has what it takes to do what is necessary. I am sure the generations after mine do not, which is scary.

I could not agree with you more. Both sides lie. Both sides cheat. Both sides care more for their own agendas then they do for what is truly good for the people of the country.

They'd rather have people like us here at I-A-B arguing with one another. Heaven forbid the public actually all get along, work together and figure out the truth right?

When there are people in the world, Al Sharpton for example, who are given a stage from which to perpetuate hatred and ignorance the country will never change.

We all know how the 11 million were killed, I'm more interested in how to kill the 545.

I do know plenty of them who don't want balanced budgets. They're called Keynesians. And the Nazis had more than 10% support. They kind of just glossed over the Nazi history there.

Drawman, don't be weird.

it is an eye opener for all the right reasons, funny enough, it will be discarted by people for all the same reasons as well..
vicagina, not really sure what obama has to do with it, he is at least as much part of the problem as anyone in politics, just like G.W. Bush before him.
and flying, if this is propaganda, who is it propaganda for? Or against?

i have folowed american politics for a few decades now and it keeps boiling down to the same thing over and over again. Would i like to say that one party is better then the other? well, i might like to say it, but in the end, it would not be true, both sides lie, twist the truth and spin their stories.
In the end it boils down to the individual casting their vote, the individual making himself heard. this is not just true for the american democracy, this is true for all democracies.
this is how liberty dies

I'm not a fan of the child narration myself. I felt the content (and not so much the presentation) was worthy of a post.

The child ruins it. As propaganda goes, this one couldnt be a more obviously manipulative grab. Self defeating really.
