The fact is, the politicians are being bribed by big tobacco to regulate the only clean alternative to smoking.

PVs (personal vapors) are about as harmful as a fog machine.

I don't trust the PC statistics.
My dad died at 87 years and they said it was tobacco related. I suppose it had nothing to do with the heart bypass surgery he declined to have two years earlier. Maybe age-related diabetes was irrelevant as well. How about he was just freaking old! He hadn't smoked in 15 years but they blamed it on tobacco on his death certificate.

3 of my 4 grandparents drank heavy and smoked heavy. All 4 lived to 88-96. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

If all of Britain stopped smoking cigarettes and started smoking e-cigarettes we would save 5 million deaths in people who are alive today."

So 5 million people who are alive today will become invincible highlanders who will never die?

Some of the items under the e-cigs could be considered as poisons as well. Over all this this list of items might be true, but it is somewhat misleading.

I used e-cigs to quit smoking. I am now smoke and vapor free. It's nice being able to breathe.

nobody's saying e-cigs are good for you. but they have to be better then reg cigs. and i thinik the point of this isn't advertise e-cigs its to bring light ot the fact that company's that have no right to do so are trying to ban them, or at least have them controlled by a gov agency which is not needed but will most likely happen anyway

A friend of mine does research into the health effects of E-cigarettes. While much of is unpublished. They are nowhere near as healthy as this leads people to believe. It seems to be a trade off, lose one toxic element and gain another.

From the paper: Metal and silicate particles including nanoparticles are present in electronic cigarette cartomizer fluid and aerosol.

"Cartomizer fluid with tin particles was cytotoxic in assays using human pulmonary fibroblasts. The aerosol contained particles >1 µm comprised of tin, silver, iron, nickel, aluminum, and silicate and nanoparticles (<100 nm) of tin, chromium and nickel. The concentrations of nine of eleven elements in EC aerosol were higher than or equal to the corresponding concentrations in conventional cigarette smoke. Many of the elements identified in EC aerosol are known to cause respiratory distress and disease."

So it's an ad, promoting e-cigarettes by an e-cigarette company? Somehow I have to think there may be some bias involved in their opinion.
