Slut_etta, boiling water works well, because backup ants flood to the scene of the crime to help and pooooof. It also destabilises the system and can make it to queeny.

Smells a bit off though.

Nifty! Ants are far from "endangered" eh? It's not like we could wipe them out even if we tried to!

The structures he finds are truly amazing! Much larger than I expected.

I like. Very cool. I'm hoping at some point this will result in a book or two that compares the structures of different species. There's got to be a lot you can learn from studying ant architecture, so to speak. They've been refining their methods for-- what? Millions of years?
