Btw: "Sambo" is a character from a Rudyard Kipling story about an Indian boy who outsmarted a deadly tiger and provided sustenance for his entire family.

First, it seems to me the name would be a compliment.
Second, Apply it to "Africans" is the wrong ethnicity.

The best part is arsehole employee thinks he's only losing his job.

Love to see what attitude he gives as he is being cuffed and booked on assault charges.

Wendypants, "racist" can be used as a noun or an adjective. In fact, most dictionaries have the noun listed first.

@LorgJim: as a fellow manager dude, I think the man was well within his rights to call him out for being a liar, especially after how this man acted. He attempted to emasculate his superior in front of his subordinates, and he needed to be dealt with. Too bad he didn't shoot his loud punk ass. F.uck that. I've bounced his kind right up out of the vicinity, got just as loud, I don't play around. My respect is earned.

What LordJim said.

Also, pulling the race card & stating you're a veteran, never makes you win an argument. You just come across as an entitled and self-righteous prick.

Lastly, sickened by the racist remarks of auburnjunky and McGover1981. But hey, what else is new?

2011 from october to november i worked at my local walmart 5 days a week 11pm to 7am. i mainly stocked shelves and used a scanny thing to scan in new inventory items. the building was too small to hold all the inventory for a walmart supercentre. the back loading room was overflowing with overstock to the point it was getting difficult to maneuver the forklifts around the overstocked pallets. we were storing toys in refrigerated units. the back room had no room, and as a result the store was always a mess. no matter how hard they tried, the night managers could never get the store up to standards by the morning. and every morning right by the entrance as customers walked in, the store manager would be yelling at the poor night managers. i remember the sad pathetic looks on the night managers faces. if it was wrong for this manager to get hit in the face, then why did watching it feel so good?

I can't help but feel that the Zimmerman verdict has given our right wing fellows a massive boner. Sambo? Freakin' sambo?

Management 101;

# When reprimanding an employee do it in the break area in front of other employees. Make sure everyone can hear and film it for uploading.

# Freely use abusive language (liar, for example) repeatedly and loudly.

# If the employee shows signs of anger or aggression up the ante by wandering around, getting coffee and generally emphasising that the question of their dismissal/continued employment is massively beneath you.

# Be astonished when punched out.

The guy was quite likely a lazy employee and should face criminal charges for assault and ABH. The manager is an incompetent wanker.

The manager should have let it go and walked away. But that guy/former employee/now going to be arrested for assault just lost any argument he had.

TheOrigin: I didn't create that image. Credit is given in the image. Yes, I noticed the misspellings, you got the point despite them.

@Wendypants - if you're going to be the Grammar Nazi, then you might want to double-check your facts before posting. "Racist" may correctly be used as a noun, to refer to a person. In fact, it was used as a noun before it was used as an adjective. And, ironically, it first appeared "in the context of Nazi theories".

chalket-"If so, that manager is now justified to pull a gun and kill his aggressor, right?"

Had the attacker continued the attack, yes.

As he was walking away, no.

Still, a good way to get shot.

Is this in Florida? If so, that manager is now justified to pull a gun and kill his aggressor, right?

The Race Card is Over! It doesn't work any more. Everyone's figured out it's BS.

Had a guy on our shift at a manufacturing plant. Every night for 5 nights he'd fall asleep on the job and his machine would get jammed up. The line would come to a halt and maintenence would have to come down to un-jam it. This guy happened to be black (no, he wasn't lazy because he's black, he was just a lazy guy who happened to be black).

On the fifth night his supervisor (who happened to be white) and another supervisor (who happened to be black) took him on the carpet.

White super: "You are the laziest MF in this plant!"
Black super (to white super): "I didn't know you was racist!" (WTF?)

Going through Scared Straight Boot Camp does not make you a veteran.

This "manager" did nothing to diffuse the situation. He should not have reprimanded his employee in front of the others like he did. He should have taken this guy aside and spoke to him privately. He didn't deserve what he got, but he did light a fuse.

If you want respect, earn it. It is not given freely and if you act like an idiot, I see no reason whatsoever to give you my respect.

I detest any idiot who throws a sucker punch. I have no respect for cowards.
