"stalking" has a specific, legal meaning. Zimmerman in no way "stalked" Martin.

Martin was seen circling cars and he had a slim jim on him. If I were looking for a new crime to commit, and someone spotted me, I'd book it. I wouldn't stop and fight them.

We have a stupid habit in America that once someone dies we canonize them. The fact is Trayvon Martin has the larger hand in his death than George Zimmerman. TM assaulted GZ. In my day if you knocked them down you won, you didn't kick a man while he was down. But Trayvon climbed on Zimmerman and pounded his head on the concrete..over and over and over again.

Trayvon and only Trayvon is responsible for his death. Is he a bad kid? Who knows! Young men make rash choices, but he is culpable in his death, no one else. He forced GZ into a corner where his only choice was to shoot.

A victory for equality. Blacks scream racisim all the time, while whites walk on glass, completely terrified of being called a racist.

I am not celebrating the death of a P.O.S.
I am happy that a man was not sent to prison for the rest of his life, without good evidence, just because he was white(ish) and the other guy was black.

If I was walking home at night and someone was stalking me, I would run the **** to my home as fast as I could.

Especially if I was an athlete and the guy stalking me was overweight and would have no chance in hell of catching me since I'm 70 feet from my house.

Justice seems to have been served. I don't see anyone walking away from this case a winner though, his life in the US is over.

I wonder what the fallout will look like in a few weeks time.

is your source for these so called murders the so called 'miami riot' video that's been proven to actually be footage of a 2011 Vancouver Stanley Cup riot?

Not a Miami Riot

bomb_tom, let's go with your distorted view of events....

You reach your door, but instead of going inside you decide to double back. You hide in the bushes and step out as he approaches. He's done nothing to you, but you sucker punch him, knocking him to the ground. QUICK! Get on top of him and cover his mouth while he screams for help! help! help!

Now start pounding his head into the concrete. After all, he had no business calling 911 on a stranger in the neighborhood, just because you were staking out cars and had burglary tools in your pocket. He deserves it! Pound his head again! again! again!

Imagine you're walking home at night.
Some nobody with zero authority begins to stalk you - against the will of a 911-dispatcher - based on a hunch that you've been up to no good.
You confront this strange man who's following you and get into to fight.
You're winning the fight so he fatally shoots you.

Is it really ok for this idiot Zimmerman to claim self-defense when he was the instigator?

CrakrJak, Yes, that was a key thing for me of his sincerity. "We have a video tape..." "GOOD! Play it!" Circumstantial but compelling.

I think Prosecutor John Guy is the only winner. He will, I predict, have a lucrative future as television legal analyst/guest commentator.

With stand your ground going for 2nd degree murder was stupid. Too much circumstantial evidence to convict on that.

Gerry: Not only all that, but when Detective Detective Chris Serino tried to trip him up, telling him there was video, GZ was thankful, hopeful. What person with ill will or intent wants there to be video of their actions?

NO ONE! But GZ did, because he acted in self-defense and was truthful with the police.

@ paperduck

GZ saw TM circling cars. He doesn't live there, but was staying with someone. GZ called 911 to report him. TM sees GZ walks off between building & around a corner. GZ gets out of car, goes up the walkway to the corner T intersection to see which way TM went. That is the "following" you ear so much about.

From phone records we know TM doubled back and hid in the bushes and confronted GZ. TMs burglary tool 'Slim Jim' was found in the bushes. No one knows who hit who first.

Witnesses confirm TM on top of GZ pounding on him. 1 shot & TM bleeds to death in 1-3 minutes. Cops arrive.

GZ gives 6 voluntary statements, all consistent within norms. No evidence to contradict his statements so he isn't initially charge.

Al Sharpton comes to town, stirs up people and for politics the Chief of Police is fired and GZ gets charged.

I thought 'Rev Al' was going to have a stroke tonight.

These so called 'news sources' can spin this in any way they desire. The jury did their job and now GZ has to try and piece his life back together. He'll have to live with the fact he took someone's life but I think the jury made the right choice.

@paperduck: Yes, GZ phoned 911 first thing!
There had been many petty crimes in the neighborhood, that's why GZ stopped his truck to report a "suspicious person"... NOT a suspicious NEGRO...

Actual Facts About The Case Long, but full of truthful facts!

Trayvon's Tweets Also refused as evidence iirc...

Also was it ever known if TM knew someone in the gated community? Or was he just "browsing" the streets?

I didn't follow this case nor know all the details, but when GZ became suspicious of TZ, did he call the cops or just follow TM around until they confronted? And the cops got called after the shooting?

At least now we know what evidence the prosecution hid. Judge still didn't allow it in court, but for curiosity sake I wanted to know. Trayvon Martins cell phone pics.

It's amazing to me how the media is still misrepresenting this. They either don't know the facts or they just don't care and are lying.

Also in the news, the guy who found the evidence that the prosecution was hiding, and turned it over to the defense, got fired yesterday for doing the right thing. And of course the Chief of police there was thrown under the bus and "asked to resign" over the TM/GZ case.

No one "won" in this situation. Except Nancy Grace, her ratings are up.

Its funny how in Australia he would be a convicted murder right now but in the US he is walking free.

So, the law in Australia says you have to let someone beat you to death? That sucks.

The mob is chanting "Justice For Trayvon"

So, what do they want us to do, dig him up and shoot him again?

Good! Not that the race-baiters will be happy with anything less than a hanging...

The mob is chanting "Justice For Trayvon"? Don't they understand? This IS justice! Idiots.

Zimmerman should sue Martin's parents for all the money THEY have made off their son's corpse...
