@mykunter: No automobile driver cares for cyclists on cycling lanes, and neither do pedestrians, so unless you use your bike as a slow wheelchair, you can't ride safely on cycling lanes.

Usually, if I ride a quarter of an hour on cycling lanes, I have to evade two cars. If I ride on the road I have no problems.

Besides that, most cycling lanes are unusable because of parking cars, trashcans, plants surprisingly growing in Spring and Summer, heaps of leaves in the Autumn, and snow in the winter.

I like it when Lance said no one would win it with out the drugs. Well, I guess they are all going to disappear somewhere? Here in Texas, Lance is The Biggest Loser.

Anyone actually care about the Tour de France? When was the last time someone won who didn't lose his victory afterwards when he was caught with doping?

I don't drive- so I am a cyclist, but about 50 miles is my limit unless it is really damn flat, both my brothers are hard riders so they can do into the hundreds and it takes some effort- they are seriously fit. Me- I adore dicks- so what?

OldOllie: I agree, Once you have car keys you never want to be without them.

With all due respect to motorcycle riders, eating bugs, road rash and the fact that you have no impact protection is not appealing to me.

turdburglar - you can seriously go drat yourself. If you can get on a bicycle and ride 100 miles in a day, then we'll talk. I ride a lot and even I can't compete with those guys. Oh, by the way, there are other pro athletes that wear what is basically the same thing. Go tell a pro football player that he's a cok lover. I'd love to watch what happens next.

I live on an island that is 42.1 square miles. There are over 60 miles of bike paths. I constantly see roving gangs of spandex clad middle-aged men pedaling along in the streets with a bike path literally 3 feet away.

I don't get it...

It's called bicycling, not cycling. I dont see any uni or tri cycles.

First, Fancy is still a moronic douche.

Second, a lot of non-nice individuals do this during the tour to get attention. Most people just ignore them.

@bro except if you think about it, the trunk is always in the front, and the boot is always at the back, or bottom.

Not our fault america is backwards.

It's biking. And the back storage area of a car is the trunk, not the boot.
