'Every single one is more useful than anyone unarmed. It's not about accuacy, it's about presentation.'

If they're concealed, there's no 'presentation' And if they're prone to panic, they could be a danger.

I disagree that it's an inherent advantage no matte the person.

@dsp

We also have the highest number of drunk driving convictions and the highest number of elected officials convicted of drunk driving, so maybe we should cut back on the permits.

It was like that before the shall-issue CCW laws were passed. We don't have a gun problem - we have a drinking problem.

What was it, 79 shootings in Chicago over the July 4th weekend? Just another day in the world of the left in this country. So happy for my home state of Wisconsin!

It's still illegal to have a gun of any type in the city limits of Chicago. Sucks for them. They can keep having a crappy crime rate.

It's funny because it encourages murder of their neighbors.

This is no longer accurate, Illinois just approved a conceal and carry law.

I wonder how many of them would actually be useful in a fight?" -dirtysteve00

Oh, great... thanks for correcting the caption to make me look like the fool instead of the OP (or Mod) who wrote "Wisconson"! Sheesh! lol

Actually, Illinois just today enacted CCW law. The last state in the union to get right with the SCOTUS decision. Unfortunately we still have to wait 6 months for the sheriffs to get a system in place to handle the over 300,000+ expected applicants.
