Please. Darrell Issa stole cars and committed insurance fraud. Mitt Romey is a world class tax dodger. David Vitter used to frequent prostitutes until he was caught. Mitch McConnel uses his office to quash competition. Republicans deny climate science at the behest of their donors. The bias tests veracity.

There's no way those Republicans should qualify for "Top-10" status, but they had to put a few on there so it wouldn't appear to be totally partisan, and these are the worst examples of Republican corruption they could come up with.

Seriously, is an insignificant little piss ant like Vern Buchanan worse than former IRS Commissioner Steven T. Miller or Labor Secretary Hilda Solis? Is David Rivera more corrupt than former EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson? Give me a f***ing break. Don't get me wrong. Vern Buchanan and David Rivera are loathsome little turds, but certainly not among the "Top-10" corrupt turds in the entire federal government -- not even close.

It doesn't take much research to say 'Politicians are corrupt".

This is news?

Just as an FYI, Judicial Watch (the group that put the list together) is a conservative watch-dog group that uses lawsuits as their primary means of influence.

Personally, I wouldn't trust that list at all (any more than I'd trust one from Mother Jones). Then again, I'm a moderate and actually care about facts over bias and speculation...

Isn't it defamation to call a politician corrupt without any evidence of bribery?

Good list! It's got the "worst of the worst" on there, no one that doesn't richly deserve to be there...

"It's a vast right-wing conspiracy!"
"What difference does it make, now?"

Gee, let's put Hitler and Stalin on there too for all the good this list does.

With Hillary Clinton featured so prominently, I was curious as to whether there was something legitimate to the rating.

Lying about Benghazi? Really? The State Department missed some intel before the attack and drew the wrong conclusion immediately following. Kind of like the 9/11 attacks, except this time four Americans died, not nearly 3000.

There's enough real reason for criticism of the government and politicians without drudging up these artificial scandals.
