This would be so much more comfortable than those horrible, weighty, smelly plaster casts!

Introducing the all new iCast.

Because whipping your iPhone or iPad in public doesn't scream "TWAT" loud enough.

My father-in-law broke his arm a couple of months ago changing a tire. Too bad these are just conceptual because that would have been cool!

I can only seeing these working for simple fractures. i broke my radius, ulna, and wrist (basically entire arm) at the same time and needed surgery for two titanium plates. Would need the padding for the stitches and such. But boy my arm stank once i got it off...

lukeforv123: You broke your wrist AND a TMNJ cast? How'd you do that?

that is cool- I might actually wear that for the required time. last couple I have had I took of after 4 weeks as they were too restrictive- and fibre glass is hard to remove. (pro tip- angle gringer with a small blade)

I broke my right thumb playing peewee football nearly 50 years ago. It happened in the first 10 minutes of the first practice, and even though it hurt like a bastard, I finished the entire 2-hr. practice. By then it was as swollen up big as my wrist and had turned quite an interesting variety of shades of purple. My neighbor's mom nearly fainted when I got into their car and showed it to her.

I got a big heavy plaster cast halfway up to my elbow. After the swelling went down, I could actually move my thumb quite a bit inside the cast. The funniest part, though, was that my teacher still insisted that I take penmanship class.

Anyone else think this was about a cast for a film?... or was that just me?

That is incredibly cool. I really want to see how they make them. Only downside that I can see: No one can sign it. Would I want one of these over a regular cast? Heck yeah.

I didn't know itching in a cast was difficult... I thought scratching was the problem.

I must confess, though I've broken bones several times I've never worn a cast.

This is going to sound weird... I might just break my arm to get one of these. You know, when they are ready for testing.
