@monsterzero: I looked it up also! ONLY 2 HITS! This chart and 3M...

Have you ever looked up something with less than 1,000 hits? Or zero (of course).

@mesovortex: Darn tootin! I'm never buying a stupid "ink jet" printer again! Goddam things are junk.
Are you old enough to remember "Daisy Wheels"?

@Cajun: "Logic" on the "internet"? Tsk tsk...

@Lednar: That's only for RED ink!
Unicorns & Leprechauns for green...
Unicorns and Smurfs for blue...
idk how they make yellow... liquid gold perhaps?

And to make black ink? Just drain a "Bank Managers Heart" (if you can find it...)

I never buy the manufacturer inks. I buy from third parties like ldproducts dot com. Much cheaper and the electronics even work for Epson and Canon printers. Only buy a few at first to make sure the chips work with your printer since they try to foil being able to use 3rd party cartridges with special electronics on the cartridges.

Ink is made of Unicorn blood diluted with newly born kitten blood.

You just have to throw 1 unicorn and 17 bags of kitten to the grinder, drain the mixed blood and boom you goy ink.

It is a fact.

Probably because with ink jet printers you're paying for the cartridges too - and they have electronics in them.

Laser printers are so much cheaper. I got a 3,000 sheet toner cartridge for less than $70 three years ago and it's still going strong.

The more fluid in the syringe, the higher the cost.

If that's what the chart says, then that's what it says.
To me it seems more logical that it should be the other way around. But I digress.

"Wait a minute, if this graphic is indicating how the same amount can by the respective amounts of liquids, then that means crude oil is the most expensive liquid out there."

Check out the scale on the left. It's a graph of cost per ml. The more fluid in the syringe, the higher the cost. It's not how much fluid you get for a fixed cost.

I work for a non-profit blood center that charges about $200 for a unit of red cells.

"Don't try it. Human blood clogs the print head."

If anyone would know, it should be Draculya, eh?

mykunter: A lot of that $35 is taxes. The vodka itself is not expensive.

Different liquids cost different amounts?!?! What madness is this??

But on the reals, considering most people make blood without trying and essentially for free it should probably be cheaper.

Wait a minute... $.04 per ml for vodka?

I'm currently drinking Stolichnaya; it's not the most expensive, but very decent by anybody's standards. I paid about $35 for a 1.75 l bottle. So, 3500 cents / 1750 ml = 2 cents per ml.

What the hell kind of vodka are they buying?

Side note: Can anybody calculate the devaluation of my blood if my blood alcohol content is 0.1%?

The price of printer ink is insane. More expensive than a beer at a ball game.

I wonder how much beer is worth on that scale.
