"And this people is the TRUE reason we have a second amendment. And why government loves gun control. And has convinced everyone in this country to support gun control. "

It's more than that. They are teaching kids in public schools to FEAR guns. They want us all terrified of guns. That way, when they show up pointing them at us, we lay down and piss ourselves in abject terror rather than shoot back.

For those who think this is (or may be) conspiracy theory tin-foil hat type craziness remember this:

Despite any spin put on this by the maker of the video, the facts are valid & you can find the same information for yourself. Drones, detention without charge or trial, & the military/NSA being able to fire on US citizens are fact.

If you think "it's just to protect us from terrorists, they would never do any of that to average US citizens", think again. Then get your ass online & do some reading about Nazi Germany, and the many dictatorships of South America where thousands if not millions "disappeared" for speaking out.

The problem i think is that your parties are controlled by lobbies. You have an illusion of free choice when you go to vote, but in reality all you vote is just a puppet controlled by lobbies, left or right don't matter. One solution could be to stop private financing for politic and introduce public finacning. Oh well i understand that you can see this thing as a "communist" thing but is the only way to have free politicians.

@Draculya That will never get that far out of hand. I think our idea of failure is probably your close to your idea of success. We just have higher standards for the most part. Yeah we got a long way to go to reach your level.

None of this stuff is new. The same kind of stuff was said with the introduction of the Social Security number system. The driver's license system. Etc... People have this notion that American is the "land of the free". Hogwash. In today's age of instant information, everyone should know about such atrocities as the Japanese American Internment program back in the 1940's. The oppression of black people, hispanics and women as well.

It's fun to watch from the other side of the world. Anyway, declining America will be easier for ascendant China to control, once America has completed its totalitarian transformation.

I for one look forward to receiving my future American domestic helpers.

Losing freedoms is not being free at all. People think Obama is a great president, he's a front-runner for stripping freedoms. The perfect slave THINKS that he is free.

Unfortunately, buying guns against totalitarianism implies that they will be used against authority at some point. A dangerous road.
The ballot box cure is ineffective if all politicians are controlled by the political parties.
I have no problem with positive ID verification via iris scan. Only criminals and illegals should fear that.
Drones and constant surveillance is an issue that can be mobilized against.
Technology will continue to create issues with control. I absolutely dread that revolution will be the answer.
Non-violent rebellion aka "Ghandi approach" could be the best first option with sit-ins (worked in the 60s).

Published in 1908. Blows my mind how closely this story parallels recent events. And its a good story too!

It's no wonder why politicians HATE open borders. It would frustrate their ability to control the masses.

Not *all* states turn into totalitarian dictatorships *all the time*. It's true practically every nation that has ever exist isn't innocent of causing miscarriages of justice or humanitarian crises. At worst some have swung between republican and authoritarian (which BTW includes totalitarianism) forms of government, including ours (see FDR).

Going by this video's logic your best option *is* unfortunately to simply leave. Some former foreign nationals have even renounced their citizenship in response to FATCA.

Considering that Obama's experiencing a Second term curse I doubt very seriously National ID will get passed before the midterm (and that's being generous).

I am told I am insensitive and a hateful little prick when I oppose gun control after every shooting that gets the politicians clamoring for it.
Oh Well. Too late now.

ever watched a film like shindlers list and wondered why more people didn't get the f uck out before it was too late? go and look in the mirror, you are those people about to get shipped off to fema camps, dissapeared or controlled to the point of a 1984 nightmare. If I were you I would consider immigration right about now...

In the past, I laughed at how ridiculous all those conspiracy theories were - then they came true.

I'll take the cower in shame-don't get the government's attention route. I've got an important, auto-industry related job to do. Ain't nobody got time for that. I'll tell my kids-don't bring that dissident mess into our house, you trying to get us all killed?

Scratchy-film stock effect, flame effect, annoying beat ...

Obviously a false-flag video to portray these ideas as being held only by flaky paranoids.

Seriously, how often has any government anywhere wanted less power, less control, less information? I can't think of a case. With current technology these levels of control accelerate far faster than previous generations could have imagined.

“The state can't give you freedom, and the state can't take it away. You're born with it, like your eyes, like your ears. Freedom is something you assume, then you wait for someone to try to take it away. The degree to
which you resist is the degree to which you are free...”

These kind of conspiracy theories are old as dirt. Ever hear the old phrase "Don't trust anyone over 30?". This too shall pass. When the economy gets better, these kind of people will relax and will be distracted by other things. The sad thing is when people obsess over conspiracies to the point where they can't function or go broke. That's when it's really sad. I wonder what happened to the people who thought the world was going to end and spent all their money on survival bunkers in remote areas.

What's life like in the US day to day? People wake up, go to work, go home, look forward to the weekend. Have a few beers with friends. Go to a movie, play video games, or watch tv. Mow the lawn, garden, do home improvements. Have sex. Eat some good food. A very small number of people think about stuff like this and it really makes their lives barely worth living and makes them a joke outside their similarly paranoid circle of friends.

Would like to hear more from the people who live there. I mean, i posted this for a reason. A selfish reason, i can't know what it's like to live the day-by-day life in the US, i got my own skewed views (probably propagated by misinformation, hoaxes and rumors, have no clue.) But this is far above any personal agenda.

I'm genuinely worried about you guys. And if this goes thru, EU and the rest of the world will follow. Only USA people can stop this, we can't help you on this, we can only provide support. And maybe some clear communication channels. If any of you want to leave, your free to bunk at my place.

After discussing these issues with a liberal coworker. People like this fellow openly admit that they are readily willing to trade liberty for safety. They also believe that the g is doing a good job and should be given more responsibility. If this is half of the voting population there is no hope. There will be no change. The sheep will allow everything.
