Iran Contra "Scandal"
Reagan may OR MAY NOT have been in one or two briefings which the Iran - Contra details were MENTIONED.
= Full scale judicial inquiry.

Obama Knowingly Lies About Wiretaps?
= MSM has no time for DAT!

Obama Knowingly Lies About Fast & Furious?
= MSM has no time for DAT!

Obama Knowingly Lies About IRS Targeting?
= MSM has no time for DAT!

Obama Knowing (repeatedly!) Lies about Benghazi?
= MSM has no time for DAT!

If y'all are so blind to the MSM's willing complicity in all things "pro-Democrat" then there's really no cure for that...

WORST PART IS: this is just the "tip of the iceberg" of Obama's crimes as PotUS. More will leak out eventually. Even the MSM cannot keep it ALL covered up!

"President’s Daily Brief cited Prism data in ***1,477*** articles last year."

@WhoDat: So 4 times a day he reads stuff which lists the phone taps as it's source, but he KNOWS NOTHING about it?
This is a "micromanaging" personality: he HAS TO have his fingers in ALL the pies! He "gets ideas" and orders his minions to find a way to carry them out. Legally? Illegally? WHO CARES! That's the "Chicago Way" he's ever so proud of.

Sadly almost all of his "ideas" suck.

As horrific fails come to light one after the other (some have been known for YEARS and COVERED UP by the MSM = keep that in mind) even his closest allies have started to abandon him. He's beginning to panic Looks good on him!

Note: Attempts to tell me what "the Chicago way" is will end in epic failure...

It's actually amusing to hear liberals making excuses for Obama doing things that are far worse than anything Bush did. They screamed like stuck pigs because our intelligence agencies were listening in on foreign terrorists, but didn't hang up immediately when they called someone inside the US, even if the call was to plan an attack on an American city.

As a Canadian, I can assure you that we were shown all of your calls. We had a good laugh at some of them. We play them inbetween periods during Hockey Night In Canada. Our bad.

@5Cats - You clearly have no idea how gov't works.

"Every member of congress has been briefed..." doesn't mean the PotUS personally met with every single member of Congress and brought them up to speed. That means there was a briefing or briefings regarding this and I guarantee you the senator(s) who didn't know about this weren't there.

Happens all the time, like when McCain skipped a classified briefing on Benghazi to complain to the media that they haven't been briefed on Benghazi.

I have a problem with them collecting metadata. I don't think it's the government's business who people talk to unless they're under credible suspicion.

@WhoDat: If Obama truly doesn't know what's going on, WHY does he keep saying things like this:
"When it comes to telephone calls, every member of Congress has been briefed on this program," Obama said. "With respect to all these programs, the relevant intelligence committees are fully briefed on these programs."

And yet a Democrat Senator has come public and said he was NEVER briefed on anything of the sort! A Dem is saying this!

If the PotUS doesn't have any idea what's really going on? Then heaven help the USA...
Also: Fire him immediately if he refuses to do his job.

HolyGod-"as if he is aware and in control of the daily operations of the DEA, FBI, NSA, IRS, and the military"

It would seem that Obama not aware of ANYthing.

He has at his disposal one of the leading intelligence organizations on the face of this planet, along with the ability to get daily briefings on anything important.

Yet, it seems he finds out about every single scandal by watching the evening news.
"I first learned about it from the same news reports that I think most people learned about this. I think it was on Friday.-Obama on the IRS Scandal.

And some people are dumb enough to believe that.

So their best defense is 'We're incompetent'.

You don't think some high up security people sat him down in a room and told him day one how things were going to be.

Oh of course but they also play right along with them.

I don't think anyone has that much power, not even the president. I think you give him far too much credit.

Completely agree. Not to say Obama (or Bush) isn't to blame for many bad decisions. I feel like the role of president has become a national scapegoat. The problems with our government are far bigger than one persons bad decisions. These bastards will continue business as usual, which is gaining power, money, and blaming others when they get caught.

"Obama went after them for these sort of things constantly. Now he's doing pretty much the exact same thing they call that a H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E"

ABSOLUTELY.

However do you ever stop to think that the president doesn't have nearly as much power or control as we think he does? You don't think some high up security people sat him down in a room and told him day one how things were going to be.

That is actually why I don't blame a lot of things on Bush himself. I don't think Bush was pulling the strings.

You guys want to blame everything you can on Obama as if he is aware and in control of the daily operations of the DEA, FBI, NSA, IRS, and the military. I don't think anyone has that much power, not even the president. I think you give him far too much credit.

@McGovern1981 - You can quit that "OOOhhh someone doesn't like it when the messiah is questioned" sh*t because you know damn well I'm not a blind follower of Obama like some people here are. Just take a look at every single link regarding gun control that has ever been posted on IAB if you need to refresh your memory.

Even many of the GOP in Washington that constantly take shots at Obama over everything don't have a problem with the collection of metadata. Senator Lindsy Graham (R - SC) acknowledged that the collection of data was agreed upon by Congress. Senator Harry Reid (D - NV) pointed out that this has been going on for 7 years.

OOOhhh someone doesn't like it when the messiah is questioned. Yes you can't do anything with metadata which would be why there taking it makes perfecr sense...... I'm sure it just that to and only Verizon ROFL!!

@McGovern1981 - You can read all about it right here, including the court order. Sorry to disappoint you but you can put the tin-foil hat away, Obama's not listening to your late night phone-sex chats with underage Thai ladyboys. There's a big difference between metadata and full on wire-tapping, which was done by the Cheney/Rumsfeld administration.

Gerry1of1-"Yes, we "can" but no we didn't."

Until, of course, they get caught, then it's "Yes, we 'can', but it's 'Bush's Fault'/'not technically illegal'/'for your own good' or 'look! Rich people!'.

"Pretty funny watching changelings scrambling trying to justify something they would've wanted Bush's head for..."

Sure, because when the Cheney/Rumsfeld Administration actually listened to phone calls it was only an "accident" that they intercepted domestic calls.

Well, this is a FAIL considering the fact that they've been collecting only Metadata.

I'm sure the Obama Kool-aid drinkers will find some reasone why: 1) It's perfectly okay to do this and/or 2) It's Bush's fault.
