We only have a triple A rating because our dept is spread out amongst different groups. Our federal pension plan is also $145.9 billion underfunded. That will add up over the years... It's a lot compared to $22.5 billion we spend on the military.

SOcialist Canadians are worthless with their Universal Healthcare and Socialist agenda government. Good thing Socialism isn't good cause a country like Canada with the soundest money would make Americans who think Socialism doesn't work look pretty stupid.......

Obviously you understand that the debt would rise as the dollar value would fall if simply more Money was printet. Im not sure if you are just bashing Obama though :)

I thought finland would be doing alright or atleast better. Also the US losing its AAA would surely mean horrific consequenses around the world. Its doubtful it will happen.

Why would anyone be the least bit concerned about the US paying its debts when Obama can just call up Bernanke and tell him to create another $trillion out of thin air?

-Australia "lower labor costs" actually i would assume Australia has some of the highest labour costs worldwide. Mainly the reason the Gorgon Project has blown-out from 43 billion to approx 60 billion.

What isn't safe of course is basing financial decisions on 21 month old information.

Canada is safe? Stop the presses Sometimes I try to imagine what Canadian conflict looks like, for example that whole Montreal business, It's all just an intense passive aggressive staring contest in my mind.
