fail
1.a ghost trap works becouse a Ghost has no mass.
2. the Lament configuration is just a key that opens a door there is nothing in it.
3. a pokeball works like a teleporter on star trek. it truns a pokemon in to data and just holds the data.
4. the Bag of holding has it start in Dungeons & Dragons way back in the 1970s

thanks Slut Etta - that bridge is the size of a quarter. I spent more time on it than any other detail. But worth it. Each station is lit individually and the view screen has a recognizable alien - Balock from the 'Corbomite Maneuver' episode.
I'll do good pics and a vid this weekend when it's all done.

@MrPeabody: I guess Pokémon Balls shrink the Poke into them, I don't know actually... it sounds like what they do.

Felix's Bag of Tricks: He'd pull out full sized items. How they got in there was never explained (which is why it's funny!)

You are correct: Bullwinkle's Hat qualifies!

I completely forget what Mary Poppins' bag does...

@Gerry1: When do you have time to be bored with such a time-eating hobby?

Listypoos - just some detail tough-ups to take care of. Small light leak out the back but overall, yes I have.

Here's a shot looking inside the bridge lit up.
Pic is way too big to post.

If anyone else remembers 'Sport Billy'... didn't he have a bag like this too?

Gerry, have you finished the 1/350th Enterprise model now?

The Enterprise shuttle bay has what is called "The Tardis Effect".

I've also heard the Millenium Falcon from Star Wars suffers from this as well. It was because of last minute changes to the outside design of the ship, so the sets designed for the interior did not match the size/shape of the outside.

The Enterprise shuttle bay has what is called "The Tardis Effect". It's bigger than the space allows it to be. It's always caused problems for animators and canon. I had to get smaller people to fit in it to build my 350 scale model. 1/350 size people were too large.

Actually, it was the Diggory family tent. Arthur Weasley borrowed if from Amos Diggory {Cedric's dad} and it smelled faintly of cats.

"idk about Jeannie's Bottle or Aladdin's Lamp: I think they shrunk themselves down to fit inside, as opposed to it being larger..."

Ok, I can give you that, but several of these are not explained, so it could also be that they shrink what has to fit inside. I don't believe that Mary Poppins bag, Poke balls, or Felix's bag ever where described as being bigger on the inside. The Lament Configuration was a gateway to hell, so it really did not contain anything.

That being said, I offer the hat of one Mr. Bullwinkle:

They did show the inside of her lamp several times Nice place!

There's several versions of the Aladdin & The Genie story: some have lamps in caves, some have bottles at the bottom of the sea. Most feature a very VERY ANGRY Genie

@mr.peabody i dont think the galaxy charm from men in black counts. im pretty sure that universe was actually that small, like at the end how our universe was the size of a marble.

The "bag of holding" is a magical artifact found in the Dungeons and Dragons game.

@5Cats
Good call... Snoopy's doghouse immediately came to my mind, too.

Wasn't the "bag of holding" the one Hermione had in the last Harry Potter film? She kept pulling out things that were way too big for the bag.

Totally forgot Snoopy's Doghouse!

Felix the Cat's 'Magic Bag of Tricks' comes from the 1953 TV Series (long legged Felix style)
