Bichon Bolognese
Origins
Italy. Recorded since 1200. italians claim that this breed originated in Bologna and is probably descended from Bichon type dogs.
Personality
This is a serious, intelligent but not particularly vivacious dog. it becomes very attached to one person and has been known to howl mournfully when the owner cannot pay it attention. More reserved and shy than its cousin, the Bichon Frise, it is also more docile.
