Geogypsy, first off, I'm sorry, I don't recall the product name and my Bro is at work right now and not responding to my texts but they are a kind of chicken jerky, if that helps. Second, your "tirade" is welcome, I'm not disagreeing with you, we walk a fine line, we opposable thumb, big brain monkeys.

"...how many times we've found out those products are toxic, this is appropriate marketing."

Phosphates can be toxic and they're definitely environmentally debilitating...yet the removal of them from dish detergents leaves one with dingy results that do not appear clean enough for one to eat off of.

Sorry for not being clear in my little tirade.

Also, I cringed upon reading about what happened to your friend's sweet-natured dog.

Was the product recalled?

Geogypsy, I might have enjoyed a bit too much of the bottle but WTF are you talking about? How does my comment provide context to your post? A little help, please?

Mad Gremlyn, about three years ago they stopped adding phosphates to all dishwasher detergents in Canada. The alteration nearly rendered the products useless. Dishes stopped coming out polished and soapy residues began building up in the dispensers. Can't say that I'm not happy that the phosphates are gone; won't promote the growth of copious algae in our waterways...but I'm never using a dishwasher again.

Wow, that's amazing. Usually I have to wash my dishes before or after they go in or out of the dishwasher...which is precisely why I don't use it.

Given how much of our options in the grocery store come from China and how many times we've found out those products are toxic, this is appropriate marketing. My brother's dog just came home from the vet as a victim of toxic treats that were labeled as made in the USA but in fact were from China and a loophole was used to legally print "made in the U.S.A." by way of being packaged in the states. He was leaking blood from his pee-pee. Seriously bad hsit. He's the sweetest Rott-Mastiff mix, nothing but happy doggie and it makes me so mad that he's suffering. Not that you'd know it, he's so glad to see you and you can't help but want to take him for walkies just to repay his absolute joy to see you, no matter who you are.
