...and if there was, he'd probably be gay.

"TruTenrMan has been trying to say that straight sex is natural, and therefore good, and that gay sex is unnatural, therefore bad."

A blowjob is 'unnatural' and does not result in procreation, no different to gay sex. Yet I choose to get a blowjob at least once a day. However, being married to a woman, my wishes are not fulfilled.

THERE . IS . NO . GOD

I just enjoy the dumbfound look on their faces. Like half of them have never even thought about it, never even had a moment of consideration after being fully willing to believe that people choose to be gay.

I can't believe I'm adding to this...

If you can choose gender preference 5cats, then you're Bi. If you can't then you're either gay or straight.

@5Cats: "that's trying to define EVERY gay person as 100% born that way"

I don't think anyone here has been saying that. We are talking about human beings, after all. There is virtually nothing you can claim is 100% universal within ANY given group of people, much less one as diverse as the LGBT community. Life just doesn't work that way, dude. It's not black and white, pretty much everything is a spectrum of grey. While some gay or bi- people can or will, with enough social pressure, sublimate their innate desires in order to "fit in" (what you incorrectly call "choosing"), most can't or won't and shouldn't have to.

"Each and every one of us chooses their "so called sexual orientation" on a DAILY basis."

That is such bull-dung! Are you really saying that, on any given day, you could just CHOOSE to be attracted to men and give up women? Really? 'Cause there is absolutely no way that I could.

Regardless of facts, proof, logic, reason, definitions, etc...

@ShinyMetal: "Present them." (Southpark quote, eh?)
You got those things? Lets see them! I ain't seen nothing from the "born gay" side except fiction.

@WendyPants: No, sorry, don't know that show.
I agree with William H Macy though, he's a fine actor too.

"Try not to shove every body into your convenient little pigeonholes."
I'm not trying to! It's the -born gay- side that's trying to define EVERY gay person as 100% born that way and unable to change.

*sigh* 5cats... do you watch that tv show 'Shameless'? William H. Macy's character said not too long ago, 'I am what I have to be to survive'. (Or something really close to that). I'm just using this as an example because...
SOME people can make themselves do anything as needed, whether or not it comes naturally to them, for whatever reasons they give themselves so they can live with themselves at the end of the day... NOT EVERYONE IS LIKE THIS. Try not to shove every body into your convenient little pigeonholes. The whole point of homosexual liberation IS THAT WE DON'T WANT TO BE PUT INTO ROLES THAT ARE NOT FOR US. And we're trying to get the rest of the world to stop too.

Please everyone! Regardless of how you feel about homosexuality I think we can all agree that it's never worth it to argue with 5cats. That old dog cant learn any new tricks. You'd have an easier time demolishing an office building with headbutts than changing 5Cats mind about anything. Regardless of facts, proof, logic, reason, definitions, etc...

"...at least you're being consistent."

Thanks for noticing @patchy! I DO TRY to maintain internal consistency in my opinions.
And that's all they are, opinions, occasionally backed by facts...

But yes! Each and every one of us chooses their "so called sexual orientation" on a DAILY basis. Some have very easy, clear-cut choices. Others? Not so easy, not so clear.

I love my cats! >^..^<
Occasionally I'm "catgirl sexual"...

Remember: I AM the one saying it's flexible, variable and changeable. The homosexualists are saying it is NOT! Keep that straight (hee hee) eh?

I just asked a question. If you acknowledge that you have homosexual urges then at least you're being consistent.

It's sad that people still believe that homosexuals have chosen to be gay.

Please don't respond,

@Psimon: Oh don't worry, I wouldn't dream of feeding your bloated ego...

@PinkMinx22: On behalf of all of Canada I apologize for @Psimon's poop-flinging

@5Cats Would love to get into it with you, and help you with your issues but again I'm on a break from arguing with internet jerks. Though I am curious how you knew I was talking about you. I guess you're more self-aware than I would have imagined for such a small minded person. Please don't respond, it makes my refraining from getting into it difficult.

Smagboy, you do realize that the fight is actually taking place in state and federal building and not on site called I Am Bored.

Everyone getting this upset here isn't making an impact anywhere and no ones opinions are getting swayed.

@5cats you know me and my jokes... yes that was a tongue and check pun.

The Gay Penguins? AGAIN? I cannot stand it!

#1 They were raised in Ontario, alone and isolated from all other penguins.
#2 they don't "do it" mutually and exclusively with a same-sex partner. THAT is the proper definition of "homosexual" FYI for the 33rd time!

When have I "opposed gay rights"? I oppose changing laws for no particular reason. I oppose new laws which might be harmful OR counter productive.

Gays got full, equal rights in Canada & I don't care!

It just drives me NUTZ when people trot out FICTION as if it were fact, and shout down ANY attempt at actual, reasonable discussion.

Here @Squrlz4: You can have some nutz too, I got lots!

@Geogypsy: That's one happy cat!

@patchy: I think Harrison Ford is a very handsome man, but I doubt I'd "do the sex thing" with him...

Remember: I AM the one saying it's flexible, variable and changeable. The homosexualists are saying it is NOT! Keep that straight (hee hee) eh?

At least no one's accused me of homophobia yet...
all these ignorant homophobes

@Psimon: Oh dear me...

I've noticed a conservative effort on your part to be chilled in these comment sections lately and REALLY appreciate it.

Well THANKS @Peakingo! I have indeed made a "concerted effort" to be milder! (I know what you meant, unless it was an intention pun? lolz!)
But the same STUPID arguments that I've shot down before from the SAME people? It just... rubs my fur the wrong way...

to say that we should all change to be straight, or not have any rights if we "choose" to be gay

@Musuko42: #1 I have NEVER said any such thing! Please refrain from shoving words into my mouth? K-Thx!
#2 It is the homosexualist side which claims homo- is inborn AND unchangeable. Got it? Good.

A perfect example of how what is normal and natural changes as our cultures change.

You're welcome! But I for one do NOT wish to "normalize" pedophilia or other "once acceptable" or "found in nature" activities. Get it yet? YOU can be gay all you like, just don't twist society to fit YOUR vision!
And don't make up bullshiite excuses for your BEHAVIOUR!!!

To be honest, I've long assumed that's the source of 5Cats' particular enthusiasm for this subject.
The lady doth protest too much, and all that.

OMG! The old "your a are fag!" argument...

Everyone needs to chill? Okay, so, let's say we have laws in 40 of 50 states that prevent women from voting. Should we just chill? What about 40 of 50 states allowing from slavery? Just chill? Look, this isn't just a friendly discussion. This is an actual civil rights issue that is currently denying equal rights to a minority of our population based on majority bigotry.

Allowing gay marriage takes away NO ONE's rights. It hurts NO ONE! But not allowing it? That literally discriminates against actual tax paying adult citizens of our country. And it's the very definition of bigotry and discrimination. So, no, I won't calm down. The issue is too important.

I agree that everyone needs to chill.
Look! Look at the baby girl snuggling with the kitty on the swing! They're different but they're bound by the love they share...Awwwww.
