That's nothing. Several years ago my son and his "friend" took $29.63 worth of groceries from a local grocery store. There were NINE (9) cops, using FOUR squad cars (all running, blocking up our street), at our house looking for the boys. But that's not all! The police helicopter was buzzing around in circles overhead, too! They took reports, etc. for almost an hour when I finally realized the ridiculousness of this and I said, "Not to be disrespectful officers, but as one of the people who pays your salaries I am shocked that it requires nine officers, four running squad cars, and a police helicopter to deal with $29.63 worth of milk, eggs, and whatever else. Can you explain why it takes so much police power to handle this situation?" They stared at me like they wanted to taze me but none answered. Some left a minute later. I said, "I'm done here." and went back inside. drating police state.

@SmutleyButt: That video was excellent! It should be covered by the same laws as a "mobility scooter" except for taking it into a store...

It might be protected by the Americans with Disabilities Act.....if the guy is actually disabled.

That would be like me running to the store alone and using my daughter's handicap sticker for a closer parking spot.

in grade ten i was harassed by two cops for hanging outside of a tim hortons. when the cops showed up i knew i wasnt doing anything wrong so i just stayed there, the guy i was with took off on instinct i suppose. when the cops asked me where my buddy went, i said what buddy (this was a mistake). one of the cops grabbed me and threw me to the ground. he started saying stop resisting, to which i replied am i under arrest? the cop didnt say anything, picked me up off the ground, put me up against the wall and started searching me, with out finding anything. they put me in the back of the cop car, and i finally started saying i didnt do anything wrong. the cops said i was loitering in front of the store and that i had to pay a trespassing ticket. 70 dollars. i was working part time with my neighbour, so i could pay it. a few months later i mysteriously got a check in the mail for 70 dollars from the city. but this wasnt the last time i was f*cked around by the cops.

Basically, this guy drives a tricked out mobility scooter [like old people use] and the police gave him a ticket for running it in the bike lane [which he only does when there is no sidewalk].

Since that is NOT illegal and protected by the Americans with Disabilities Act, the cops were just harassing him.

fudge the Police!

Here's the Power Wheels guy side. Guys it's just supposed to be a funny pic. Not everything has to be serious. That's the point.

That "kid" looks way to big for that toy car. There has to be more to this story.
