I think North Americans are so fat because it's acceptable to be so. You would think being morbidly obese would be viewed as a bad thing, but it's treated like something that is out of our control and thus ok. A few people may have genetic issues, but there's no way everyone does, it's another poo excuse.

Odd as it may seem
but I think you have a good point there

I'm not fat, and a huge majority of my friends and family aren't fat. Not even close. I don't get it.

Someone's getting the employee of the month parking space for that gem. Yum.

I think that's the point, @Dragonace. They're going to sell what people want and not give in to the calorie fascists who like to point out the size of their bacon cheeseburgers, list out the calorie count and call them "heart attacks waiting to happen".

Hardee's and Carl's Jr are on a mission to kill their customers off one by one. The burgers and deserts they create are just heart attacks waiting to happen. I mean hell they sell a frikkin $10 2/3lb bacon cheeseburger that's 1300 calories by itself.

I would imagine this would be a lot like those cream slices you get from Tescos (not sure if they have these in America) link ... really good if the pastry is just a tad on the soft side

The logistics of this confuse me. Cold PopTart = ewww. Warm PopTart + ice cream = difficult-to-eat mess. That said, I've never actually tasted a PopTart, so my opinion means nothing. Sigh.

I can picture that becomming part of someone's job description. Flip the burgers, refill the shake machine, put the Pop Tarts in the toaster, etc.

That doesn't seem like it would be good, unless the poptarts are heated first and then it just sounds messy!

Coming from Carl Jr's that's understandable. They're the same company that brought those disgusting ass 'Thickburgers'.. I still get nauseous when I see one.

I haven't touched fast food in 10 years or so and I've never been to a Carl's Jr before. Must be a west coast thing...
