I like the comments at the bottom where some dumbass (who probably attended a NY public school and learned all about lesbian bullying) explains the whole 45 thing by saying, "dog years are a multiple of 7". Sounds like some Obama math to go with that Obama phone.

OK, OK, waitaminnit. An errata sheet has just come in for this post.
1. On the teaser page, "generic dad" should read "genetic dad."
2. On the teaser page and in the article's header and lead, "45th birthday" should read "8th birthday."
3. In the article, Woo-Suk Hwang is misidentified as a genetic scientist. He is, in fact, a life insurance salesman in Seoul who likes to buy drinks for journalists at the local bar.
4. Throughout the article, "Afghan puppy" should read "small, smelly goat."
5. In the article, the words "remarkable scientific breakthrough" should read "Lishen to this--buh wait--yoowannuther drink?"

"But...he's so small... I wonder why that is?"
The genetic mother is a different breed.

I think it's a typo. Should be genetic, not generic.

Yeah, he's small for being 45 and from a "generic dad."
