- So you think that money is the root of all evil? Have you ever asked what is the root of money? Money is a tool of exchange, which can't exist unless there are goods produced and men able to produce them. Money is the material shape of the principle that men who wish to deal wlth one another must deal by trade and give value for value. Money is not the tool of the moochers, who claim your product by tears or of the looters, who take it from you by force. Money is made possible only by the men who produce. Is this what you consider evil? -

Unfortunately, for this society, no truer words have ever been spoken (or in this case written).

Everyone has a price, but it is not always money.

@LordJim: 100% Correct!

Money is not the only form of "control" one person can have over another... the possibilities are endless!

"you cannot serve both God and money."

Try paying your electric bills with prayer. My guess is we won't be hearing from you anymore.

"True that. Not a thing someone won't do, for the right price."

What a sad and immoral existence you must lead to believe that. I can think of tons of things I wouldn't do for any amount of money.

"you cannot serve both God and money."

Since money feeds me and provides housing and medical I'll go with getting some of that.

@ Gerry: Good suggestion. Take 2 below. =^.^=

FELLOW I-A-B'ERS:

Please click the link below to be taken to the video clip titled "Bobby," posted on 4/20/2013, to read two motions I have introduced to the floor. If the motions are seconded, kindly cast your votes ("Yea" or "Nay"), with an indication of which motion you are voting on.

LINK to "Bobby"

If one or both motions pass by a simple majority, I'll forward the request to that scurrilous wag, Fancylad.

Respectfully submitted, I am--

No, money is not just paper. Money is value of work. The paper is just a note to keep track of the money, but so is the digital record of your bank account. Hardly any transactions are done with old fashioned paper money anymore. It is all digital records.
