She's right...it's exactly like a bomb had dropped because it had. It's like going to a funeral and remarking, "Everyone is acting like someone died."

This is what happens with 24-hour coverage. You have to fill the air with something, even if it's just an empty street.

They tried the same 'electric atmosphere' poo with the London riots, the streets were just empty, the riot was over, the rest was bullpoo!

Wait, wasn't it CNN's timely identification of Zooey Deschanel as the surviving Boston Bomber that resulted in her capture?

Actually, that was a local Fox broadcast network affiliate (not the same as the Fox News Channel). Also, it wasn't their news department; it was the closed captioning guy, which meant it was probably at least partially due to auto-complete or voice recognition software.

Woah! That is an all time low for "TV Journalism's" IQ...

The epicness of the fail, it's... Earth Shattering!

CNN, you ARE the biggest loser. I saw some interviews that Wolf Blitzer did earlier. What an idiot.

It's as if police and FBI told all residents to stay indoors.

wow they are just not paying her enough for her genius.....I would never have thought about describing a post bomb scene in such an astute manner...oh wait that's because I have two things she doesn't. TACT and DIPLOMACY!

Yes, EXACTLY as if a bomb had gone off.

That's what I like in my professional wordsmiths...alliteration. Well, you can't say her description wasn't accurate. It really was as though a bomb had gone off. That's accuracy in reporting right there.

The related videos thing at the end has a gem from Glen Beck.

Even when a liberal makes a fool of herself, you have to try to distract everyone and make it about someone else.

Can you even imagine the hate and venom if a Fox News reporter had said something this breathtakingly stupid?

Okey dokey, abstract thought and eloquent speech; not her strong point.

In a job where 80% of what you say is made up BS, sometimes it accidentally ends up sounding like the truth.
