1:30:21 PM - Not a negative comment on the article, perhaps a poke at you for submitting such a biased caption?

1:34:56 PM - Again a comment on your caption, not the article. "he has nothing else" led to "Boston didn't have anything else" (not saying I agree, but there is certainly no need to see your article to have made that observation).

1:48:32 PM - Again, no need to follow the link to make this (somewhat accurate) observation.

None of the three mentions or "COMMENT[S] NEGATIVELY ON THE ARTICLE." They all refer to you or to your inflammatory caption (which gives more than enough justification for these comments). Very sorry, but ZERO does not qualify as "several".

markust123-"If you start an article dishonestly..."

Did not Obama accuse Republicans of using political stunts?
Did not Obama use the families of Sandy Hook as a political stunt?

In markust's world, pointing out Obama's hypocrisy is 'dishonest'.

markust123-"can you really expect people to believe or even read the rest of it?"

Using that logic you could not believe or even listen to 90% of Obama speeches.

"...But we all have faith that you will not give it up, because YOU are incapable of admiting your dear leader could possibly by a hypocrit."

I think you are projecting with your whole response. I'm not all worked up like you are. I was just pointing out how dishonest the beginning of the article is. If you start an article dishonestly can you really expect people to believe or even read the rest of it? Well besides you guys that believe anything if it fits your narrative.

I'm not some brainwashed Obama drone. I stay way way away from those blogs. I've admitted on here many times that he hasn't done everything right. I wouldn't call him being a hypocrite here I call it being a politician. I guess I do get a little defensive for him when I hear lie after lie attacking him. I happen to like my president. I think he is a good guy. That's not a bad thing.

@Draculya,

Given the choice, if I were a dog, I'd rather go for a ride with Romney than go to dinner with Obama.

markust123-"The quotes from the president were..."

Irrelevent to the subject of the article.

The gist of the article that Obama has repeatedly accused conservatives of pulling political stunts during the gun debate, while at the same time propagating the largest political stunt of the entire debate: taking the parents of the victims of Sandy Hook, parading them around Washington, shoving them in front of every camera he can, and giving them a ride on Air Force One.

The sad thing is that HE probably doesn't recognize it as a political stunt, because in his narcissistic mind anything HE does could not possibly be a 'stunt'.

And no matter how much you blather and yell and scream on this thread, you can not negate his hypocrisy.

But we all have faith that you will not give it up, because YOU are incapable of admiting your dear leader could possibly by a hypocrit.

"From my perusal of the string so far, I've come to the conclusion that markust is so desperate to at the same time ignore and downplay the hypocrisy of his 'dear leader' that he has to complain of the lengths of the quotes in a (failed) effort to make it seem he was taken out of context."

Are you kidding me? The quotes from the president were one to three words long. That is not a quote. They could have been from anything especially since there are no sources listed. The guy used a couple words of Obama's and filled in the rest. Let's see how you like it; When leaving the bathhouse MeGrendel said, "I've come" many times tonight. These guys were delightful especially when I had two "at the same time".

You know, that 'out of context' or 'misspeak' that is claimed whenever a liberal says something dumb (which is often).

"IAB Liberal Brigade" is polite...
As polite as I get anyhow...

The sub-groups of this "Military Unit" are not subject to the same polite treatment of the overall Unit.

Anyhow:
1:30:21 PM
1:34:56 PM
1:48:32 PM

My comment: 2:04:15 PM

See? The link starts working AFTER that.

I'm not even counting 2:11:45 PM because he doesn't refer to the article... and the link may have been working for him, IDK!
So there you have it!

@chalket: 1, 2, several. There were 3-6 votes and 3 comments, what word describes BOTH groups?
"A few" yes.
"A couple" could be...
"Several" Bingo!

Dictionary agrees! "An indefinite number meaning more than two and less than "many""
Here there were... more than two? Check! Check!
Less than many? Possibly. Check!

The defense rests.

@FoolsPrussia: OK then, I wasn't going to say it (in fact I erased it from my post):

Are they experts on TERRORISM? Prevention of terrorism? Nope! Would you tell the 150 to make new laws regarding terrorism? Just them? I don't think that would be a good idea...

"But they're NOT "experts" on any subject, they're just average people with an opinion.
are the 150 wounded Bostonians now "experts on bomb making"? I think not... although one or two might be, by sheer coincidence... but it's HIGHLY unlikely... "

Those 150 Bostonions don't have to be bomb making experts to want those sorts of bombings to be prevented, just as someone doesn't have to be an expert in cars or alcohol to want laws to be passed to prevent drunk driving.

"Yes he's one of the "Liberal Brigade""
I guess I should get to know him better then!

"proud member of the "Loonie Left" commando squad"
I thought we were trying to be polite this time?

"there were at least 3 people who voted "1" "
Possibly, but that's nowhere close to your claim of "several "IAB Liberal Brigade"... COMMENTED NEGATIVELY ON THE ARTICLE before it was up". You gave a plausible explanation for the rating with "it's entirely possible they voted "1" because the link wasn't working" so where are those "several" NEGATIVE COMMENTS?

Those people CHOSE to put themselves out there in favor of gun control.

@FoolsPrussia: And MY article says clearly that they have every right to! Clearly!
But they're NOT "experts" on any subject, they're just average people with an opinion.

@markust: Yes, it says "theblaze" and I wondered why you threw Glen Beck's name in there too... Yes, I can be "that dense" at times, I admit it!

*sings the "Everyone Makes Mistakes" song from Sesame Street*

@HumanAction: Yw! I thought this was "IAB Worthy" because it is well written, concise and truthful: Obama has NO facts and ALL emotion for his arguments. That's NOT how the PotUS is supposed to make new laws!

@chalket: I refer to the time I posed, sorry if that was unclear.
{When I complained} there were at least 3 people who voted "1", {and this was before the article was linked}.

Hope that improves it for you.

@Geogypsy: Oh GHOD no! They didn't pick the Junior Treadeau? Not really!

@5Cats: "But the fact that several "IAB Liberal Brigade"... COMMENTED NEGATIVELY ON THE ARTICLE before it was up?

What?! There were exactly 15 posts before you declared 'Worky-Worky' and 11 of those were you and other "IAB Right-Wing Brigade". NONE of the others "COMMENTED NEGATIVELY ON THE ARTICLE" (though normalfreak2 did comment somewhat negatively on you and crakr, lol). FYI (since you seem to have missed his point): Zeegrr60's comment was riffing on your caption, not the article. (And is he even in the "Liberal Brigade"?)

"Hey markurst123; you only talk about sources you can trust, so hows about you explain why abc aired a segment about a runner talking about heavily armed officials screaming "drill, it's just a drill" before boston's bomb"

It was a local Alabama NBC station and if you scroll down 36 posts you'll see that pretty much everyone thought it was ridiculous to put the guy on the air.

"Fake outrage from a fake president."

Which quote in the article from the President has you so worked up Crakrjak?

Was it this one, "politics". That is pretty strong stuff there.

Or was it, "political stunts". Yikes you can almost tell what he is talking about there.

Maybe it was, "common sense". Oh lordy lordy how dare he say such a thing.

Was it, "doing something". My word how shocking!

"our children". How dare he talk about our children.

"the gun lobby". Holy moly those are fighting words. Well at least it was three words.

@5cats AND markurst123

stfu.. both of you.. You've digressed so far away from the original topic that it sickens me. Hey 5cats, get used to the liberals pulling on the strings of emotion and using confirmation bias regularly. Hey markurst123; you only talk about sources you can trust, so hows about you explain why abc aired a segment about a runner talking about heavily armed officials screaming "drill, it's just a drill" before boston's bomb

and furthermore ; has anyone ever considered the notion that this current regime wants to distract ALL PARTIES and usurp the ultimate power? Shut up, and wake up, and get armed, and stop arguing with each other. If you really truly care about your rights both of you will realize that 'stunts' are just something to distract you from the real truth and to cause tempers to flare up. Grow up . Both of you.

@5Cats

Thanks for the post; the author succinctly and eloquently states an opinion that I also share.
