Well, you call yourself "insane," so I guess I have nothing to add to that.

Ah, yes use a rainbow to insult a Christian. Because God's covenant with Noah, symbolized by the rainbow, just makes us Christians sick with worry about the sodomites across the street.

Hey LGBT people: You can't take away the true meaning of the rainbow any more than you can the true meaning of marriage.
Keep trying, and fooling yourself into thinking we actually give a poo about your lies and defamation of those who don't agreee with you. We all see you as the hypocries you are. You want to destroy the long standing definitions of things in a weak attempt to legitimize your poor behavior.

soo... you say "pump the breaks" on painting someones house to send a message... but picketing a funeral that is just a-ok. both are expressions of free speech. apparently it gets under your skin when someone speaks out against another's free speech. come to a funeral of my family and protest... you'd be glad if the only retaliation was a colorful house.

Low property value being so close to the WBC yes...and now a rainbow colored house. That's not adding to the curb appeal of the area either. If I'm a third party in the area I'd be even more pissed off.

"you can exercise your personal liberty so long as it does not prevent others from exercising theirs."

I agree with Nerd Rage on this one. And painting your house rainbow colors doesn't prevent anyone from doing anything.

Why all the bad talk about being spitefull? Some of us can live off of spite. I know I owe mine my life many times over. That being said I'm a happy chill guy.
If I were in that neighbourhood I would glow in the dark with the amount of spite in the area.

Oh, BTW is't a orangey colour.

Nerd, these guys spitefulness is ABSOLUTELY in no way comparison to what WBC does.

I get the semantic argument you're trying to make and the definitive black and white line you're trying present, but that's not the case.

These guys protest soldiers funerals and the funerals of The Sandy Hook kids. A protest, comical house colored in the style of the Gay Pride flag is in no way comparable.

Seriously. It's not. You may think it's cheap, that's fine, but it's not comparable.

Sorry to disagree with you guys on this one, but being spiteful about a situation is pretty much just as bad as being the arse in the situation. So, pump the brakes; and remember: you can exercise your personal liberty so long as it does not prevent others from exercising theirs.

From the article in the local paper a couple weeks ago - when this happened - it took them 4 tries to find a painter to do it. The first three lived in town, the last one drove an hour in to do. His (not exact) words: "Hey, I don't care how a customer wants it painted. A job's a job." The other three didn't want WBC picketing their shop/job sites.
