my mom used to live in a house that backed onto a river. there where lots of geese. there was a fire pit we never used that got covered up. one morning i walked down to the river to enjoy the scenery and fresh air. as i walked past the fire pit, i heard a loud hissing sound. it was a f*cking goose. i backed away quick, but i noticed the goose was sitting on a nest of eggs, to which i was all like, oh poo, i know this scenario. and then in came what must have been papa goose with his wing span spread out, hissing at me. and i was all like i do not care if it is illegal to hurt you here in canada, i will drat you up!!! and then i ran back to the house like a little bitch.

The only reason geese attack us is that we have a superior frontal lobe and we don't just kill them. You don't see them runnin' up on a mountain lion like that do ya ?

i think i read once that the U.S. Army was using geese to secure the outer perimeters of their big base in germany. the geese were cheap to keep, vicious as hell, and fairly silent in their approach...

My mother was attacked by a goose when she was young - it put a big gash in her stomach when it bit her. According to the story, my grandmother saw this, grabbed the goose by the neck, and threw it .

Geese are lovely, make fantastic pets. they are territorial but are easy to make back down if you need to, they eat grass which is why they has those serrations. The wing pit of a goose is the softest things out. Great parents, loyal companions and marvellous on the bed on a cold night...

My grandmother had these horrible things on her farm!! She had different kinds too.. I could be nowhere near them as I fed the other animals and sure enough i'd turn around and a whole damned gaggle would be running my way with their heads lowered and hissing..The b@stards don't back down easily either..I have tried stomping my feet at them and it doesn't work.. I learned the hard way that it just ticks them off even more..geese are buttholes.

True fact: When my Uncle was little a goose broke his arm. Hit him with his goosey head and *snap*!
Grandpa solved the problem with an axe... roast goose for dinner!

Interesting fact: Some religious denominations (notably Roman Catholics) historically used to allow the nomming of geese on otherwise Fast Days, when you weren't allowed to eat meat. Since it's obviously a fish. Seriously, look that sh*t up, it's hilarious.

Always would freak the crap out of me when I'd go to feed the ducks as a child and a clan of these things would start chasing them away with deep hisses and quivering tongues.
