If the roles had been reversed, the Hyena would have done the same.

Gerry1of1: it's not heartless by design at all, it was designed to be perfect. But then we disobeyed the Creator and separated ourselves from Him, it allowed heartless ways to grow.

"have a flap of skin that imitates a penis"

- But the internet still hasn't helped you figure out what a clitoris is.

Hyena's are pretty messed up creatures. The female's are actually larger then the males and have a flap of skin that imitates a penis. They will sometimes mount the males to show dominance and keep them in check. This is because the males will sometimes eat the babies. WTF!!!

~shakes head~ .... "Why the hell do i know this?"

DAMN YOU INTERWEBS!!!!

I just put that caption on there 'cause lots of people like to point at butterflies or beautiful birds and say "Look! That's proof of Creation!" Well the other side of that is the horrific brutality of "creation". If it was by design, it's heartless. Or take the tapeworm, point to it and say "Look how beautiful! Proof there is a Creator".

This is distressing, poor girl. It's likely that she is an Alpha of a group just come aways to give birth.
They are amazing animals and Matriarchal.
I love the Dogs too .

If you knew how Hyenas are total jerks to the other animals in Africa, then you'd call this justified payback.

Link: Botswana Wild Dogs Vs Birthing Hyena [Rate Link] - If this is intelligent design then the Designer's a jerk. (Reminds me of some of the threads on here)
