"I hope you don't mind if I save that awesome rant. No one seems to try to pick it apart. Wonder why?" 'Cause he sounds like a dangeraous lunatic who will hunt you and your family down if you do pick it apart. Safer just to nod agreement and work your way towards the door.

Thursday, March 14, 2013 7:48:53 AM EgalM- we could agree to disagree, but those who disagree won't just shut up. If we, who get how it works, allow the ignorant few to have their own way just to keep the peace ,it becomes a threat. Natural selection is important, it allow us to understand how things like antibiotics cease to work, why insects become and issue, why certain diseases spread. Just because a few bone heads refuse to accept a process that affects all life on this planet, a huge body of understanding could be threatened. If those boneheads lived in cabins in the hills no one would care- but you have some of them making policy... THAT is scary!! |

Thursday, March 14, 2013 7:33:10 AM "If this is intelligent design then the Designer's a jerk." If this is evolution, survival of the fittest, than why do they still exist? Everything can be seen from different bias, why not just agree to disagree and move onto things we can actually do something about, like poverty or reality tv. |

Thursday, March 14, 2013 6:32:23 AM If a tree falls in a forest and no-one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? If a Hyena is killed giving birth and no-one is around to film it, did it really happen? |

Thursday, March 14, 2013 4:23:30 AM LOL- there is no debate about ID or creationism. The only debate is among those too ignorant or blinded not to see how selection works. It only turns up on the internet because for some ridiculous reason, quite a few people in a major 1st world country are religious fundamentals and badly educated. Lots of people in 3rd world countries don't accept it either- but we understand WHY that is. No argument, no debate... only if you are well, words fail me really LOL> |

Thursday, March 14, 2013 4:01:07 AM Ferd: Hyenas are more closely related to Cats than Dogs. They are neither, however. They are closest biologically to a mongoose. 8400! |

Wednesday, March 13, 2013 11:42:10 PM I believe it will be much more important for humankind to be able to not argue about such things, but instead either see past them, or don't. Whether or not idealistic theologies exist or not makes no difference to us. Even if you believe or don't believe those things... what are you DOING with that belief?! What truly matters in my mind; is betterment. What if that means not the abandonment of stories passed on? Instead what if it turns out to be the combination of the theistic(supernatural) and the realistic(natural)?
