I feel great knowing that I don't live within 300 miles of a major US city

Given the state of their missile technology, you are probably safer at the city center.

Our missile defense system would be alerted the second the nuke left the launch pad, it won't get anywhere near its intended target. We shot a satellite out of the sky in 2008, we can swat a nuke out of the sky too.

In my school days I used to argue with the doom & gloom crowd that the people in the armies of the US and USSR weren't CRAZY, for chrissakes, they had families and cared about their country's survival. They wouldn't push the nuclear button.
With the loonies that run N Korea, I'm not so sure.

But fo real though... It would be shot down before it reaches us... Why are long range missiles even a threat anymore?... It's not logical unless they shut down our GPS with an EMP... That is the only way...

If North Korea nuked the US, it'd be the US, South Korea, China, India, Japan and probably most of Europe vs. North Korea. They'd be nuts. Can't imagine it ever happening in my lifetime.

Meh, HalfPint, they are all talk. The worst they can do is nuke Japan (which is horrible, but it's not us), and I doubt if they can manage even that.

I'm torn between wanting North Korea leaders to see this and terrified they will
