I'm gonna probably ruin this, but this is a Hayabusa Series E5 Shinkansen train. If you want to see what they're like onboard when they're flat out, click here: http://youtu.be/T-ijhAqVYvw?t=4m30s. They run between Tokyo and Shin-Aomori which is located at the extreme N of Honshu, the main island of Japan.
This particular train is parked at Tokyo train station, though even I couldn't care which particular platform.
