Monday, March 04, 2013 10:55:36 PM Thirty years from now. Nursing home selection. And when the old bag in the next bed steals your dentures, you won't get a dime, beech. Now, when I fell asleep and had to come and kiss my babies first thing in the morning, and quickly palm the $$ under the pillow, I think God and Mother Nature forgave me. At least I never had to write any of the kids a check. I mean, just try cashing that one, kiddo. |

Thursday, February 28, 2013 3:23:37 PM It's very bad parenting to invoke a supernatural being as being the measure of your worth and the ever-prsent observer of your most intimate moments. But that's just my opinion. When it comes to dental helth care in the youngsters this works for me. |

Thursday, February 28, 2013 2:47:24 PM whats wrong with this? kid wont clean his room and they decided to give him some incientive. as for the bodies in the bed he probably has his parents sleep with him/her sometimes. its not bad parenting. its not the way i would go about solving the problem, but its not bad parenting. |

Thursday, February 28, 2013 1:31:28 PM how unimaginative. When i wrote my son a letter of behalf of the tooth fairy after I caught him trying to put his tooth under the pillow for a second night for twice as much cash, I wrote a miniture letter the size of a stamp and made up a silly name for the fairy and used fancy lettering, by hand. I mean, does she think tooth fairies are 6 ft tall and can use the computer? |

Thursday, February 28, 2013 11:47:37 AM skullgrin 'because kids learn how to read and comprehend things like this between the ages 4 and 5' No, that is a 7 to 9 reading age, maybe sightly more. If you have a 4 year old who can read 'retrieve' then you have a very gifted child. At that age you would hope cvc's and a few ccvc's, the basic consonant digraphs and maybe the very basic vowel digraphs such as 'oo' or 'ee'. It would be exceptional to have them reading 'ie', 'tion', the plural ending 'ies' or the distiction between 'ou' and 'ow'. And that's aside from the grammatical complexity of the first sentence alone. How many clauses do you need to cram into a sentence? If 4 year old's round your area are reading at that level please let me know your school district so I can move there. |

Wednesday, February 27, 2013 3:04:45 PM Why is the child being blamed for having too many blankets and pillows? And what the hell is meant by having too many 'bodies' in the bed? |

Wednesday, February 27, 2013 2:09:47 PM Those parents are definitely dicks. You ground your kids or take away things if they don't clean their room. You don't decide to turn the Tooth Fairy into a heartless bitch. They'll probably give the kid crappy presents for Christmas and have Santa blame it on something the kid did. |
