We have wicked big crows. One day, I heard the most raucous noise. It was a murder (love that) of crows, all circled around three crows, two of whom were beating the crap out of the other. I swear, on of the crows was taking book on the fight.
another time, when we put up one of those fake crows for Halloween, several real crows circled it, cawing and apparently cajoling it into flying away with them. So maybe they aren't all that bright. |

those look like baby crows.. anyway.. i should take video of the crow meeting they have around my parts.. everyday at 5:00 they all fly down to home depot from miles around and decide who has been a bad crow.. then murder it. there is 1000's of them.. kinda creepy, but cool. |

Those are not blackbirds ( Turdus merula) - they are not black or brown. Not crows or Jackdaws either....
