AND there's way too much Lithium around to come from "The Big Bang" alone.

I'm not sure where you're getting this info. While it is true that stars burn lithium as opposed to making it, the prevailing theory is that all lithium was a product of the BB.

@MacGuffin:
90% of all people in Scotland are rednecks...
and 10% are tourists!

Quick! Which 2 nations on Earth play the "Highland Pipes"?
Scotland... (duh!)
And... Canada!

We Canadians LOVE you Scotts! So come over the pond and pick a fist-fight with us any time!

No, really! Canadians:
#1 Love everybody!
#2 Will punch anyone in the nose at the slightest provocation!

Then we'll apologise

@lauriloo: I'm not picking on you (at least this time!) I thought the same thing while watching it.

@Squrlz4: It's fairly recent that Lithium has been added to the "Big Bang Building Blocks" because (idk how!) they've recently figured out that stars simply do not make it.
AND literally every life form on Earth has Lithium inside it.
AND there's way too much Lithium around to come from "The Big Bang" alone.
AND AND AND! If 1 (H) and 2 (He) AND 3 (Li) existed... why not 4, 5, 6... etc? Hummmm?

I suspect we'll find (eventually!) a way to explain all this problematic Li-3. But until then it's fun to know that bit of "trivia".

@5Cats: I'm impressed by your notes. You're right about H and He being present in the Big Bang. Kudos. Didn't know about Li, but I trust you and hope to check into it.

@Lauriloo: I struggled with that too. I think 5Cats nailed it with the "found" vs. "discovered" remark. Perhaps a better description would have been "the first element to be *isolated* was found by...." Hmmm. Open to suggestions on this one. =^.^=

MacGuffin, never forget that all the rednecks came from Scotland.

@lauriloo: lolz! I was tempted to point that out too, but then I remembered:
Gold & such were "found".
Lithium was "discovered".

It's hair-splitting, I know.

0:30 No, not really. Helium (2) and Hydrogen (1) were present in the "big bang". Also there was Lithium (3), which is NOT formed by novas, supernovas or any other mechanism we can find. Therefor, all Lithium has to have been there since the BB too.

1:45 Meh, close enough!

It's close enough, and there's no glaring flaws, and it wasn't boring! Thx @Squrlz4!

The description isn't quite right. The first elements discovered were gold, silver and copper. But, I'm being picky.
