Exactly. I personally know four mormons (3 straight and 1 gay) who left the church because of the bigotry the was exposed via Prop 8. My ex is from Salt Lake City so I know a lot of Mormons. It is not a healthy environment for gay people. If you are gay and are interested in leaving, here is how to resign from the church. |

I'm a gay man and have NO idea why people feel the need to "come out". I don't hide it if I'm asked about my sexuality, but I've never felt the need to make a big song and dance about telling people my sexual preferences. It's called a private life for a reason, it's not anyone else's business! |
