One time I gave a homeless person a dollar.
He said, "I need about tree fiddy."
"What?" I asked.
"I need about tree fiddy," he repeated.
On closer inspection, I was horrified to find out that this was no homeless person at all; it was the goddamned LOCH NESS MONSTER!!! |

Faith in humanity ? What side of the door are you on? Having ( unfortunately) been on both sides at some point, and a second time just to see if I missed something. Handouts are what people do so they feel better about themselves. offering that same $30 at once to buy a pair of shoes or a jacket or similar is a hand up, not a hand out. Better yet, just once in your life, take a homeless person that needs help and get them cleaned up and back on track. Sometimes it takes no money at all. Just a bit of your time and a little bit of Humanity. We could all gain from something so simple. Like nuking N Korea. Why wait when we can fix any future problems now. Here's a little help guys, we have lots of unused bombs, Save the money building and testing, we will just come by and drop off all our old ones. Handout and a handup at the same time. They save money and we get rid of junk. Opp's forgot to take out the trigger |
