Wednesday, February 20, 2013 10:39:07 AM Wow. The agents were very respectful and calm and she was snide and argumentative. I'm sure she thinks she won something or proved a point or got one over on them, but she really just showed her uglyness to the world. |

Wednesday, February 20, 2013 8:43:27 AM Yup. Ask Martha Stewart. The only wrongdoing she was convicted of was lying to the FBI. |

Wednesday, February 20, 2013 8:31:42 AM @paperduck: If she doesn't want to answer the questions then why get them to ask the questions? If you don't want to say anything then just shut the damn door instead of being an a$$hole. |

Wednesday, February 20, 2013 8:11:39 AM patchgrabber because if you just say "no" without knowing what they're talking about, you could be getting yourself in deeper legal trouble. If there is something you should have known but didn't, it can be taken as a lying to them or obstruction of justice, etc. You can be completely innocent! Ask a lawyer about it but if you can be implicated in any way, shape, or form the best thing to do is NOT answer anything until your answers have been okayed by a lawyer. |

Wednesday, February 20, 2013 7:57:30 AM xfactormunky the point of this video is to show what happens. This was a "intimidation" tactic to frighten marginal protestors. It's strongly implied in the video that she has no affiliation with any kind of illegal activity, yet she gets a visit basically to let her know "we know who you are and we're watching you". |

Wednesday, February 20, 2013 6:10:16 AM If she says "mother of five children" again I'm going to slap her through the internet. Plus, don't you only have the right to remain silent if you're under arrest? If you're just being questioned, you don't have to say anything anyway. What a dumb bitch, he asked a simple question that has a simple answer: "no." Why antagonize these agents over a simple question? Not letting them in your house? Fine. Checking credentials? Fine. Laughing and wasting their time by getting them to ask questions and then "pleading silence" is just being a dick. |

Wednesday, February 20, 2013 2:57:10 AM I feel like this video is meant to gather support for this woman's cause, but it does the exact opposite. She is so rude and annoying, these people were just doing their job, not acting maliciously in any way, and i'm sure if she just cooperated the whole encounter would have lasted like 45 seconds. |

Wednesday, February 20, 2013 1:57:12 AM JoeSwanson: Apparently you didn't get the part where the police and FBI can lie to you, but if they can find any discrepancy in what you say to them, then they consider it as lying to them. Lying to the police or FBI can lead to jail time and fines. That's something you don't want to be have to try to defend against in court, even if you video taped it. Any lawyer will tell you it's best to keep your mouth shut, not invite them in and be polite but firm about discussing your constitutional rights. |

Wednesday, February 20, 2013 12:09:12 AM Seriously they simply asked a few questions... hey obviously had SOME reason to ask... I dont see why a brief voluntary inquiry is such a burden.. better to conduct a full investigation based on information provided by their 'source' and then simply show up, kick her door down and haul her ass off to jail while implications are dealt with? If i were in her shoes I would much appreciate the heads up, 'hey...theres been reports and you might want to watch your poo'. Sure those are her rights but those rights are dependent on voluntary cooperation, abuse of them just makes it worse for everybody. |

Tuesday, February 19, 2013 11:41:52 PM @Cartunze " If you don't say anything at all, you might be detained for questioning". Only if there is probable cauase to arrest. Detaining people for questioning is not legal in this country without PC. You have the right to not talk to the police if you don't want to. |

Tuesday, February 19, 2013 11:36:06 PM There is no "Off the record". You have the right to remain silent (Not really. If you don't say anything at all, you might be detained for questioning. You have to say that it is your right to remain silent.) Anything you say CAN and WILL be used against you. |

Tuesday, February 19, 2013 11:27:24 PM "How about the whole confrontation clause...who is her accuser?" Law enforcement can inquire and she can say no. The Debour ruling standards. She wasn't charged. Doesn't apply until she is. C'mon you know this stuff. You're a lawyer aren't you? |

Tuesday, February 19, 2013 11:23:23 PM Read the drating constitution instead of rolling over it. Constitution not good enough, even the brits understood this poo. "The poorest man may in his cottage bid defiance to all the forces of the Crown. It may be frail—its roof may shake—the wind may blow through it—the storm may enter—the rain may enter—but the King of England cannot enter!—all his forces dare not cross the threshold of the ruined tenement!" William pitt Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.

Tuesday, February 19, 2013 11:17:35 PM If its a police state you want than this is what you get. This was just harassment. If there was anything credible about their information coming to her door with anything but a warrant was worthless. Really this is batpoo crazy. This is an attempt to silence someone, not investigate someone. I deal with confidential informants every day. They do not tell you your part of an investigation till they have pc for the arrest. |
