@davymid: In the 60's in Ontario, bags were the only way. In Manitoba in the early 70's, there were both bags and cartons. Once "metric" came around, the bags were gone here, only cartons.
There's good and bad points for both, which explains why both still exist, eh?

Cartons in BC, too, Davy. Bags were tried in the late 60s, maybe 70s, I'm thinking. They didn't last. Cartons have been around the whole time I've been around. |

I dunno. I live in Canada, and I've never seen a bag o' milk in my life. It's all cartons, at least where I am (Newfoundland). |
