that's just silly. i have no idea what those things even are.
it's dumb to stand by my own personal opinion? so then if you are atheist is it dumb for you to be so? is it dumb for Gerry to think that boys are more sexual appealing than girls? is it dumb for republicants to be republicants and demorats to be demorats? admitedly i may have gone a bit too far, and i should have said "In my own personal opinion everyone only needs one handgun." but even still that should still have gone without saying.

turdburglar maybe is like you say and i am sure you have a better knowledge of the situation living there but...you say that nothing gonna change cause of black market. Well black market is illegal, not everybody can have acces to it or have the gut to risk so much being involved in an illegal purchase, you can allways be stopped by police before you achieve your sale on the black market and the quantity and variety of stuffs you can find is not so rich as in a legal gun shop. At the end in my opinion to compare an eventual sale ammount on black market with a clearly leagal sale ammount in a legal and authorized gun shop is not fair. For sure also with black market the quantity,variety and availability of stuff will never be the same as today with legal gun shops. |

See now you're moving the goal post. You began with the argument that responded to the pic with PBO surrounded by guns. Well the first three men had no such protection and the fourth in a situation where anything short of living in a bubble wouldn't help. There were no guns to help them M'Kay. Your original statement makes no sense. |

Piperfawn - I think the situation is just fine. I'm not the one who says things need to change. The news makes things seem scary here. I honestly don't think the guns will just disappear eventually if they where to stop selling them at stores. In my gun safe there are a dozen old (but still working just fine) rifles, shotguns, and pistols that were handed down from gramps to my father and now to me. They don't disappear. If you banned sales of ammo you would just create a black market. You may stop target shooters. No one ever shoots their last rounds unless they have reason. Plus, people serious about shooting load their own ammo.
It seems the more you try to take them away, the tighter people hold on to them. Maybe after a few hundred years you might make a dent. Too many Americans love their guns. |

Nah is not right,the first 3 were killed by guns and the fact secret was not there is irrilevant on my objections that in fact they were killed by guns, what kind of item use a sharpshooter? The generical name is...gun and obviously you can buy an SR in your country nowaday,in most of cases for hunting "motivation". Boom Boom nothingh you have said is against my reasoning. |

f**k The LAPD. They shot two innocent ladies down my street. If anything they should be charged with attempted murder. It would have taken 10 seconds to realize their truck is blue and they were just delivering papers. I was scared to leave my house because I drive the same truck. Its a messed up world when you are afraid of the people who are supposed to protect you. |

turdburglar maybe if you start to stop selling guns so easily,maybe if you stop the permission to sell weapons at guns shows with ridicoulus controls,maybe if you stop selling bullets like candies your countries in some year( i don't say tomorrow) will have less working ,updated and loaded guns around. Obviously if you don't even try the situation will allways remain the same or even worst. |

Piperfawn - Guns have been in America since before it was America. There are more guns than there are Americans. We are less than 5 percent of the world population, yet posses nearly 50 percent of the worlds guns. The government doesn't have records on where or who has them.
In what magical world is it possible for there to be less guns? Everyone here keeps debating whether and what guns should be legal, but what is the point? The guns will still be out there. It is just lazy and delusional to say "You should have less guns. See how smart I am. I solved the problem." |

MeGrendel well you are just demostrating that there is nothing more letal than guns. Out of so many attempts only the ones with guns succeded,the others attempts with other methods failed. Hmm maybe with less guns around your president need less guns as protection...maybe. |

I didn't either. We've had a few cop killer cases here in Seattle where multiple cops were killed. Don't remember one ending well for the killer. I think the moral is if you want to remain alive don't shoot a bunch of cops. |
