They added "Trampoline", and "Race Walking" and removed Wrestling. I hate this planet, wtf decided this, whats next? Olympic Nascar once they take out the Marathon?! |

They should have dumped that Tae Kwon Do pish. If I want to see two people wrapped head to toe in pads kicking each other with no attempt made to defend I'll just go along and watch the local girls' hockey match. |

They should'a dumped all team sports.
Okay, they're fun to watch {for some} but the Individual triumph and effort I think is more central to the Olympic ideal than team sport. Maybe you can stretch that to a relay race.

Why do they need to drop a sport to begin with? just leave it alone. That said, I really don't care.. The olympics get less and less interesting as I get older. I don't think I watched a single event last year. |

I'm only wondering what took them so long. It's all about the money.
I cringe every time some backwater country blows half the nation's coffers to build yet another record-breaking stadium they really can't afford, just so they have a CHANCE at hosting the Olympics. Same goes for FIFA by the way. |

Something isn't making sense: Why was it even a question?
I mean, if one was going to toss something from there, wouldn't it be more like sync swimming or baton twirling or whatever the heck that's called? |

These guys are idiots, wrestling has slowly been becoming a very popular sport. My high school team (and others in my area) has grown from 7 guys to 40 since 2003 and shows no sign of slowing. With the MMA becoming so popular, it is garnering respect from other at that level. Why would they think this is a good idea, Olympic MMA? |

I was waiting for the reveal that this was a joke. This proves beyond any doubt that the Olympics are just show biz and nothing more. People would much rather watch skinny 14-year-old girls prancing around in leotards than watch serious competitive sports. (Okay, I'm one of them, but still...) |
