Tuesday, February 12, 2013 6:14:00 PM Yeah, they use swords. Stop acting like you guys are so civilized over there when crap like this happens MrPeabody, don't get me wrong. This country IS full of scum, I don't deny it. My point is we don't have guns YET. Our government loves to follow yours like sheep so I'm sure it's only a matter of time. When that happens we may as well give up. I don't care what the PC brigade say, I believe it is down to the influx of foreign cultures. In the UK it is a relatively new thing. In the US, you are built upon mixed cultures and races, it is part of your history and make-up of your culture. I applaud the noble idea your forefathers had of opening a new Land of the free but time has shown us that cultures will always clash. |

Stop acting like you guys are so civilized over there when crap like this happens: 16-year-old screamed as he was hacked to death with swords in central London |

Tuesday, February 12, 2013 5:50:34 PM @McG - you are proving yourself to be a dick once again. These are armed response officers. The public don't walk around waving six-shooters like it's Dodge City unlike you folk. |

Tuesday, February 12, 2013 5:43:13 PM "But your gut feeling, however you might have come about it, is in my opinion fueled by the types of people seen all over the net right now saying how this guy is a hero." Actually it is quite the opposite. The guy is nothing but a murderer in my eye. My gut feeling was fueled by a pissed off police department. |

Tuesday, February 12, 2013 5:34:10 PM Ok, we'll agree that conspiracy theorists are twits. But your gut feeling, however you might have come about it, is in my opinion fueled by the types of people seen all over the net right now saying how this guy is a hero. Not saying by any means that you're saying that @markust but all that kind of crap does influence our feelings at times. All I was pointing out is the obvious reasons for the press being kept from the immediate vicinity. Why give the guy not only more targets but also a way to get his information? |

Tuesday, February 12, 2013 5:24:44 PM @djwajda, please don't turn a gut feeling into me starting a conspiracy theory. I have zero respect for conspiracy theorists. I think they are nuts. |

Tuesday, February 12, 2013 5:17:34 PM Wow, that's priceless. Please by all means test that idea for us. I wonder what would happen if you wrote a manifesto telling all police agencies not to pull you over for speeding. And you all think for one second with all the exposure this has gotten in the media and with whacked out facebook fan pages that there won't be an investigation? The people that claim this guy is a hero have already pretty much guaranteed that it will happen. Believe me, I have very little faith in the current government but it isn't them that will demand the incidents all be investigated. |

Tuesday, February 12, 2013 5:15:42 PM "why are sylvester stallone and tommy lee jones heroes when they do it, but this guy, doing it for real, is a bad guy?" because he doesn't just want to kill those officers. he's talking about going after their families. |

Tuesday, February 12, 2013 5:13:09 PM this is going to make a GREAT movie... one cop taking on the establishment, going against the force to out corruption and injustice. 'course it's all been made a hundred times before. why are sylvester stallone and tommy lee jones heroes when they do it, but this guy, doing it for real, is a bad guy? |

Tuesday, February 12, 2013 5:01:26 PM "Two officers already down in the firefight. One of which now confirmed killed." he DID warn other outside police forces to stay out of his way in his manifesto... |

Tuesday, February 12, 2013 4:55:21 PM (sorry got cut off) However to those people that try to justify this guy being nothing more than a murderer and thief? He's no hero, no folk hero. He's nothing more than a killer now. |

Tuesday, February 12, 2013 4:52:32 PM Funny how my son just commented to me that the conspiracy theories will begin... They were sent away for very specific reasons. 1-Two officers already down in the firefight. One of which now confirmed killed. 2-Safety(see #1) 3-Attempting to keep a person who has bragged so openly to know all police tactics from learning of said tactics being employed against him. Sorry but there is no big conspiracy here. He decided to steal a truck and got caught. Which proves that if in fact he was such a 'good' cop as he claims that it proves good cops make bad criminals. Not to mention he's now responsible for yet another death. Whether this guy was mistreated by the LAPD or not in the past will be the job of an independent investigation that I'm sure will be conducted. If indeed there is corruption uncovered in the LAPD then appropriate action needs to be taken. However those people that try to justify this guy being nothing more than a murder |

Tuesday, February 12, 2013 4:27:03 PM Why do I get the sick feeling that the media and their helicopters were sent away so the police could guarantee this man will die. |
