Sunday, February 10, 2013 6:19:06 AM He's using a boss loop station. You start and stop your recordings, and it immediately starts to loop what you just played. You then lay tracks on top of it. |

Friday, February 08, 2013 7:47:50 AM Nope. First of all, other than some badly executed pulloffs and a few nice arpeggios, this was all flash and no substance. You can tell if a person is a musician by what they think of a video like this. He wasn't playing fast. He was picking fast. Also, it was sloppy and repetitive. However, all that being said, because it's the flash that non-musicians like, I'd probably hire him if I needed someone. |

Thursday, February 07, 2013 3:58:15 PM I think whodat summed up what I was saying pretty well (thanks).. I even said no comment on this video! I did watch "ppodgajci"'s link though, featuring a guitarist I would more accurately describe as 'insane' |

Thursday, February 07, 2013 12:00:21 PM Technical talent without heart. Meh...give me a proper tune half out of key any day. Very good just the same, I enjoyed the speed and skill. I tip my hat. |

Thursday, February 07, 2013 11:37:37 AM Grandpa's guitar, hahaha!!! @Burton_Ian - I wouldn't necessarily say Jowsh is "sh*tting" on the guy's playing. He's just pointing out that playing fast doesn't automatically make it amazing. Ask any guitar player and they'll tell you that. It sounds amazing or impossible for someone who never played or is just beginning to learn but with practice, repetition, and learning the picking/fretting techniques that work for you, you'll get there sooner than you think. Don't get me wrong though, this guy is both fast & accurate which makes him a bada$$ guitarist. |

Thursday, February 07, 2013 11:24:36 AM I don't know why it seems like people who can play musical instruments feel the need to poop on other musicians. This dude is really good! Even if you aren't a huge fan of this flamenco-thrash (if that's even a genre!), there is no way you could deny that his is very technically proficient -- especially since he is playing on the streets outside a music shop (maybe he's a music teacher who is busking outside for some extra cash?) |

Thursday, February 07, 2013 11:08:14 AM Is it just me or does it seem like the reflections of the people in front of him are walking too fast?

Thursday, February 07, 2013 11:00:20 AM Jowsh.... did you even watch the same video that we did? True just because you can play fast dosent always make it talent.. However, this dude would be much more accurate at half the tempo. Except he is MASSIVELY accurate for playing at 200mph like he is. He could out guitar any of the 5yr old Chinese girls Ive seen on this site and that is saying ALOT! |

Thursday, February 07, 2013 9:43:46 AM No comment on this video, but speed doesn't necessarily = talent, taste or good music. Tons of jazz players play like they're on whizz but often it's tasteless and ultimately crap. People lap up speedy playing regardless |
