I hate it when discussions devolve into people handing out racism accusations and others trying to prove their anti-racism credentials. It's not productive.

The fact that you assumed the statement was racist, probably without even giving it a second thought, says a lot more about you than it does about me.
I've always felt that if a person misinterprets a simple statement by immediately assuming it's racist, the least he could do is shut up. |

"I've said it before and I'll say it again" is normally used in a context where you're the only one or among few that are saying it. That doesn't make sense used for rapists because almost everyone will agree rapists are animals, it makes sense if you meant because of their nationality. That's the source of confusion and no need to get all hostile. |

No, I won't shut up and I stand by what I said. Anyone who's involved in a gang rape is a f*cking animal, plain & simple. You're just focusing on the fact that this video was taken in Egypt and assuming that I'm calling them f*cking animals because of that. Why are they "heroines" ? Assault victims sure, but are we misusing words again? I hate that.
3: No doubt family honor will be restored by brothers or fathers killing these girls.
