Have seen these before ,although not for car insurance. It's usually religious non-nice individuals leaving a disguised bible thing as a 'tip'. Waiters/waitresses hate them...

Captive. But gullible? Just because someone gets one of these on their car doesn't mean they are gullible. I'm not sure that word means what you think it means.

Whenever I see advertisements that annoy me (as this certainly would) I simply go out of my way to avoid using the product or service. I hate the ads YouTube uses that cover up the the video, so anytime I recognize the company in one of those ads I put it on a list of businesses to stay away from. Conscious avoidance always wins out over subconscious recognition of branding.
