Friday, February 01, 2013 8:23:29 PM The message is pretty clear, not super clever, but clear. It is also one that I would find pretty benign in today's day and age. Wouldn't seem like criticizing the KKK would ruffle many feathers. But clearly it does. Apparently criticizing the KKK is considered "political bullpoo" by our token white supremacist, 5Cats. |

Friday, February 01, 2013 7:57:52 PM Whoever made this forgot that you were supposed to make a point as well. That, or they were an "artiste" |

I think some people are missing the message in the political cartoon. Normal Rockwell, a great American artist, would have gotten it, and applauded it. He understood political messages in art.

Friday, February 01, 2013 7:40:11 PM I think this is an insult to Norman Rockwell. No one that could paint this,
...could be a racist or bigot. |

Friday, February 01, 2013 7:15:54 PM This is not "ripping off" Norman Rockwell. It's intentionally using a very famous painting's meaning as part of the joke. I'm sure the fact that it was a Norman Rockwell, which is considered as American as apple pie, was also an intended part of the joke. |

Friday, February 01, 2013 6:29:51 PM If the KKK is so proud of their skin color, why do they go through so much trouble hiding it behind those sheets? |

@fancylad - I see what you are doing here. The pic has nothing to do with guns, but maybe if you mention guns, peeps will argue and get you a few more hits. If you want more hits, stop posting garbage. Almost every post today is just a lame picture with a lame comment. Not a very interesting day at IAB. The only couple good posts were user submitted. At least we can look forward to kitteh tomorrow. She is way better at this than you. |

Friday, February 01, 2013 6:23:47 PM Does anyone else get a weird Norman Rockwell vibe from this? @honkeylips: That's intentional, of course. The "artist" thinks he's being "clever" by ripping off the works of others and throwing in enough political bullshiite to choke a whale. A BIG whale! One with teeth!

Friday, February 01, 2013 6:16:00 PM @ScottSerious - it's a member of the coo clucks clan, making a self portrait, and the irony is that he sees himself as captain America. Were you homeschooled too? Google it, you'll learn something. |

Friday, February 01, 2013 6:12:15 PM @ ScottSerious - I think the artist is trying to tell us America is racist. |
