Thursday, January 31, 2013 3:27:11 PM It was good for a young choir. I sang with the Minnesota Chorale for years but eventually had to leave because the director was getting too many of her university students to join and the sound was getting too young and thin for my taste. The classics need deep, mature voices to sound great. |

Thursday, January 31, 2013 2:43:54 PM I agree with everyone saying that it was really good until the women joined in. It's just not a song for a high pitched voice. |

Thursday, January 31, 2013 3:50:33 AM Good up until the part where the women injected it with estrogen and sissified it! |

Thursday, January 31, 2013 1:41:59 AM Ok, being a huge fan of music, Tolkien and Jackson's adaptations...this is very underwhelming. It's actually quite bad. Goosebumps were shared with everyone in the cinema when Armitage did it. No goose bump was given when these people did it. Not by me at least. Fail. |

Wednesday, January 30, 2013 9:28:18 PM The wussy guy at the opening and the end who didn't have the range to hit the low notes pretty much ruined it for me. They need to kick his sorry ass out and hire someone who can sing bass properly. The girls weren't bad, but they couldn't make up for such a lousy start and finish. |

Wednesday, January 30, 2013 9:04:21 PM I agree with TruTenrMan, the Peter Hollens version is better. This version is good but the women kind of kill it for me. |

Wednesday, January 30, 2013 7:46:07 PM Sounds better with male tenor voice, to me, but it's not bad. Hail Tolkein. |

Wednesday, January 30, 2013 5:54:59 PM str8voices? There's a name that's got to mean some sort of 'Christian' choir where they all met at church.
