Wednesday, January 30, 2013 11:39:32 AM "Did Garrett McNamara Ride A 100-foot Wave?" I'm going to have to defer to Betteridge's law of headlines on this one. |

Wednesday, January 30, 2013 8:07:00 AM It's not forced perspective. Look at the wave, then look at the dude, then look at the wave again. 100 feet. |

Tuesday, January 29, 2013 2:44:18 PM @Gerry: Swells bring consistent sized waves. Im pretty sure they were all better than 90 feet. Regardless, its an impressive run. I went to North Shore and swells were coming at about 20 feet and I chickened out. |

Tuesday, January 29, 2013 2:39:03 PM That's not surfing. That's the ocean running away from him in fear. Was he using a board or did he kill Chuck Norris and wax him up as soon as he rigor'd? |

I don't think he did it on purpose. He just caught a bit of wave and it grew and grew and grew. Once you are on it there's not much choice but to keep going as long as you can. Did he live? |

Tuesday, January 29, 2013 12:15:59 PM I can't really tell. His balls are so big it is hard to judge the size of the wave. |
