Madduck, I tried Salvia too....didn't really do anything for me which was a pity cause i'd really been looking forward to trying it. These days I stick to the odd spliff and maybe a couple of mushroom crops a year cause those are so simple and quick to grow. |

I tried Salvia once. It does not last for very long and is TOTALLY different to weed. I loathed it and could just hang on on there by telling myself it would be over in a few minutes. normally I don't mind tripping but Salvia is a dissociative as well as a psychedelic - some love it, but I doubt it would ever be a problem. |

i just saw him on tosh.o. you guys have heard of salvia right? the stuff that really f*cks you up and is actually legal? on tosh.o they had set up an obstacle course (a bunch of tires on the ground) and chong had to navigate through it while smoking weed from a pipe. another guy who is known as the salvia guy or something had to do the same but with salvia. the guy with salvia fell to the ground and started laughing and acting kind of sketchy (if dude had pulled that poo at my house he wouldve been thrown out the moment he seemed ok) but chong just took his time and navigated the tires no problem albeit a bit slowly. i wouldnt touch salvia because of some of the things ive heard, but marijuana is gods gift to mankind. |

Um, no sir, this would be trafficking. Technically speaking, weed isn't decriminalized here. We tried twice, but they died in parliament (mostly due to pressure from the US DEA, thanks by the way US). It's just that our cops here in general tend to be a bit more laissez-faire in busting people with small amounts. Usually they will charge you if they are already taking you on another charge. |

Markust, under federal pressure, the city passed a bunch of zoning restrictions to force dispensaries to close down. We had them in our neighborhood. You had to be a member an be buzzed in. They were NOT open to the public. Now it's closed because it was too close to a school.
The licquore store next door stayed open. Children can go in there and buy candy, but they had no access inside the cannibus store. The windows were darkened on the dispensary, but all those shiney, colorful bottles of booze are on full display for the kiddies in the licquor store.
No, they are not waiting for them to violate local laws. They're changing the laws until the dispensary is in violation. Obama, and it's under his direction, has been targetting the dispensaries. They make way too much money from the Illegalization of pot, they will never allow it to be legal. |

I'm on the side of the dispensaries but if you act like marijuana has been completely legalized when it hasn't you're going to get busted. It takes little steps. |

Gerry, I've never read one article where these dispensaries getting busted were not breaking some state or city law. Here's an article of member owned cooperatives that were busted by the Feds after their city turned them in. |

Instead of going after users, the Federal government is going after banks that conduct business with dispensaries, thereby making it difficult for a dispensary to conduct business. Feds also pressure state senate to enact new regulations, i.e. no dispensary within 1000 feet of a school, day care, etc. the state has also banned sign twirlers and signs within X amount of feet from the curb. They legalize then over-regulate. I live in Colorado and even with these regulations we still have more dispensaries than every other state combined, yet half of what we had two years ago due to over regulation. |

Markust, not true. Many of the the Cannibus shops are Member Owned Cooperatives. They bust them, take the stock, and arrest the staff who work it. The Feds never care about breaking state law. |

Come on Gerry. The Feds are only busting the medical marijuana distributers that break the state laws. In California that is running the business for-profit when the law specifically states that you have to be a non-profit organization. Plus it is always the state that calls in the Feds after warning the businesses three to four times. Little steps. |

I just read that the new pot laws in Washington State and Colorado are going to take roughly $1.4 Billion from the Mexican drug cartels. That is awesome. |
